What I like most about this community is the activities they have for us residents here as well as the food that is prepared. Based on the experience so far, I would recommend The Montvale Senior Living community to other families.

Montvale Senior Living for my Mom
My mom moved in mid-summer after having a tour a few months prior. As soon as a studio apartment opened up my mom received a call and management worked with her to make her transition an easy one.
The other residents that live there have been very kind and my mom has made a group of lady friends she has lunch and dinner with every day and if my mom doesn't come down they check on her and ask if she needs any thing and bring her up a plate.
There are daily games you can get involved with my mom enjoys that and the Bible study! I am so happy my mom can get out of the house now and not only get involved with things to keep her busy but also socialize.
Montvale is currently making some upgrades and my mom is very excited about that. One of the big things residents are excited about is the meal time will be available 7am to 7pm soon breakfast all day. You won't have to he down to eat at a set time (currently 8am, 12pm and 5pm).
Very happy mom is at Montvale!!!

My mother refused to go to Montvale. All interactions we had with staff were wonderful!
All of the staff at The Montvale Senior Living are professional, compassionate. knowledgeable, friendly and supportive.
I highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Highly recommend and very positive experience.
The rooms are clean and tidy at Montvale. I am very pleased with Montvale and feel they do a great job. I was getting another text from Hampton Inn I stayed at. Sorry for the confusion. I would refer anyone to Montvale and feel they do a wonderful job.

Worth a look
Montvale Estates had the best floor plan and storage closets out of the 5 facilities we toured.
[name removed] died in September and was satisfied with Montvale until they lost their 5 star chef. Then she started complaining about the food
They do need to hire a chef that considers the best and most nutritious foods for seniors.

I give them a five overall. Although I did express concerns because my mother has dementia. There is no assisted living. It is all independent living. That is something I did not realize when I moved her there.

My Experience
The activity director, I feel, is the friendliest of all. Basically, the entire place is understaffed and has an inadequate amount of glasses and silverware. Those who have been here much longer than I, complain that we no longer have placemats and the staff is rushed to clean the tables; there is no longer any jelly on the tables-- we have to ask for jelly and two is the maximum allowed. The housekeeping is not what I am accustomed to. My move in was a disaster; most was because of the moving company's poor job, which is still being investigated. However, when I arrived alone at about 7:30 pm it was dark and there was NO STAFF present! There is no staff from 7pm to 7 am. Since the truck refused to unload the truck until morning, I had to sleep on the floor--no furniture at all. I had just had surgery a month before and I also have a cat who was very traumatized. I am also 84 years old. I was exhausted. I chose Holiday Montvale Estates because of the apartment of 1079 sq ft and all the windows. I should have checked more, but I had been looking in this area for at least a year and the biggest ones I found only had about 480 sq ft. Yet after 6 surgeries in 10 years, I knew I had to move closer to my son and granddaughter.

Excellent! I would recommend to anyone!
I’m a new resident at holiday Montvale estates! Really nice independent living apartments with assisted care available! Includes meal service! 3 meals per day! Really good restaurant quality chef prepared meals! Servers are friendly and nice ! Never an issue getting more coffee or whatever your need! Free shuttle transportation works great! I arranged a shopping trip to Walmart for apartment basics! Easy trip to and return!
Spacious apartments! General manager [name removed]and sales manager [name removed] were very helpful arranging remote signing lease and details! All the staff are friendly! Great device! I very well managed overall! I love my new home at montvale estates!!

A wonderful place to live.
The montvale community is a cozy community in which to live. Aside from friendly residents and staff, delicious meals and worry-free maintenance there is a greater feeling of personal security than living in an average apartment complex.

I absolutely loved my tour at Montvale Estates.
The community was very very clean. The staff was exceptional and answered all of my questions. My tour was very informational and I am looking forward to the time I can move in once my current lease is up. [name removed] invited me to stay for lunch and it was very good, it felt as though I was at a restaurant, I can certainly get used to this kind of service daily!! VERY GOOD JOB MONTVALE. The sales manager went above and beyond with my tour A++++++. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

My father was very hesitate to move, but realized it was needed and someone recommended Montvale Estates. Long story short…we scheduled a visit and he has now been there for two months and doing great! He seems happier and healthier. Excellent place to call home
I have lived at Montvale Estates for almost four months now and my experiences here have all been excellent. I am so happy to call Montvale my new home. All of the staff members go above and beyond to make sure that I feel welcome. Whenever I am out of my room, I always see the sales manager and the two building managers interacting with residents, making sure that all of their needs and expectations are met. I have definitely seen some major changes in the community since the new sales manager started working here, as all staff members seem to be working together as a cohesive team, who genuinely care for all of us residents. I would like to mention that this community has many great programs and activities that we can all join in as well. In addition, when I have any issues in my room, maintenance always takes care of the problem quickly. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all staff members for their professionalism and going above and beyond for all the residents.

I moved my dad to Montvale during the last part of September 23 after meeting with [name removed]. [name removed]was amazing with my dad and I. This has been a very difficult time for our family and I have been very overwhelmed. Every time I have reached out to Kim she has put my mind at ease and has been a real God send for me and my dad. I feel very grateful she is there watching over things.

Amazing place to live!!
I have lived here for quite some time and could not have chose a better community. The food is great, the location is very practical and is close to everything, staff is amazing and the new sales manager has gone above and beyond to make this an exceptional place to live and if I could give her more than five stars I would. Very grateful to be part of Montvale!

We had a good tour experience with Montvale Estates.
The main reason we did not choose this facility for our loved one was because they did not offer a kitchen in the apartments. It was just a small refrigerator and that was not going to work.

Our loved one likes it there and the staff members are super friendly. What we really like most about the community is the ability for our loved one to have her care there which is a huge plus. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend the Holiday Montvale Estates to other families.
