It is the perfect fit for him. The size of the facility is great as it’s not too big, and just like the show Cheers - everyone knows your name & his. The staff genuinely care about him and address our concerns. I have counted on them during the times he has not felt well, they would check on him more frequently, treated him like their own family and gave me updates on how he was doing. I have eaten in the dining room quite a few times and the food is quite tasty. There is a variety of daily activities. They have special celebrations for the birthdays & holidays. I love that once a month there is a themed family dinner where all the residents family gather to eat & visit in the dining hall it’s a great time w/great food. I thought about mentioning the staff by name, but all of them are great and I wouldn’t want to leave anyone out. I would highly recommend VOHB of Chatham.
