Highly Recommended
The staff is great. They know all of our names and what we like. They make repairs upon request. The meals are very good quality--not quite like they were at home, but amazing when they for cook for all of us. We are very happy and satisfied here. I would highly recommend The Hamptons.

Very satisfied!
The staff is all very friendly and thoughtful at The Hamptons at Greenridge Independent Living. We are having a great experience here. We haven't begun having housekeeping yet. We still have quite a bit to unpack. The meals are very good. The food service workers are so helpful! Of course, there are those who have some complaints, but I would recommend The Hamptons at Greenridge without hesitation.

Very Inspirational
I am currently a resident at The Hamptons at Greenridge Independent Living. Everything at this facility has been great for me. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The staff, food, and activities are all great, also. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Tour experience
Our tour expeinrece was just ok, it did not have that homey, friendly feel when you walk in like some others did. It felt secluded and it did not have an open concept. The elevators were down the day that we came to tour.

Ladies in the office are always "in a meeting"
The independent living cottages are fair. The layout is convenient for seniors, but you are getting the basics. No granite counter tops, the VERY cheapest appliances etc... for what you pay. The REAL problem is the management in the office. My mom lived there for 4 year and had no less then 30 different schedules for house cleaning. (sometimes it would change twice in one week). The last months my mom lived there she asked for an early morning cleaning time as she had been there 4 years and I get off work at noon to help run errands. The ladies in the office claims cleaning can only be done in numerical order of the cottage. GIVE ME A BREAK! The people who lived next door had only been there a month! The day my mom died and the paramedics/police were there she walked down to her cottage and said to me: You mom was so angry! Never in my life has I've ever seen such little compassion and rudeness. Even the paramedics commented on how rude she was.

Best Choice in Tyler for Independent Living
I would tell my friends, that they are very considerate. They are very kind to the families. However, they are very slow at getting maintenance to the apartments, and sometimes uses COVID as an excuse.
They do a great job at keeping an eye on my loved one and other residents. The building itself is very nice. You walk in and it feels like a resort or hotel.
The community rushed to get my loved one's apartment available. We were on a wait list. Then they called quickly, and said there was an apartment do you want it? I let them know that we could make it work. I rushed to get my loved one packed, and up to the community. The Hamptons called three days before we were to move in, and said the room wasn't ready. I let the community know they needed to find a way. They were able to make it ready for us.
They stated they will raise rent on average 4% each year.
We have a continental breakfast and one hot meal a day included in the price we pay.
The community has home health office on the premises. This has been so helpful to my loved one. This is very affordable. They do his laundry, check on him daily, and dispense medication. This is a separate company than the Hamptons.
The residents keep an eye on each other. They let the families know if they see something that is concerning to them.

The Hamptons Assisted Living Seem to have Incompentent Care Management
My loved one moved from the independent living area to the assisted living area. I moved my loved one out of the community in roughly 3 weeks after the transition.
There were a couple of reasons that made me make this decision. The first one being that I used the buzzer to try and get the attention of the staff, and no one responded. The manager stated that they had pull all the buzzers due to a meeting with the care staff. This upset me so much.
The clothes were lost every week, and I had to search them each week. I feel the care manager was be running over.by the staff, as she seemed to be inexperienced.
The Hamptons didn't seem to have a lot of activities.
The Director of the community seemed to be new and looked like a deer in the headlights when I approached her about concerns.

Welcome
When one is ready to commit to apartment living, this is best value in Tyler.
Apartments for two people bigger for less.
The final decision for me was carports and exercise equipment room.
Pluse the percent increase per year is less than other places.

Feels Like Home
My husband and I have been living in The Hamptons for about a month now, and we are settling in nicely. It’s just a very friendly community and a comforting place to be. The staff is warm and helpful, the food is very good with lots of options, and they have many activities to keep us interested such as chair aerobics and exercise classes, weekly happy hour, and other activities. The apartments themselves are spacious and comfortable, the place is very clean, and it just feels like home. I would certainly recommend it to others.

Nice Location, But Not The Community For Us
I wish the original person that we set the appointment with was available, but she was out on vacation. I feel our tour was not at a good time. It is a nice community, and from what we saw it looked nice. However our tour was not well received by my mom we did to much walking and went down to many long halls, she felt like the place was empty. It did not give it a warm homey feeling. The apartments we were shown was big clean nice! The surroundings are nice and country cquiet not rushing traffic but very off the beaten path. However we didn't really see anybody, and didn't notice any activities. The staff was kind, but we did find a community that was more active.

Mom's Great Care
This is a great community for my mom. The staff is caring and attentive. The community will bring room to her own room. I like knowing that this is a clean place for her to live. The menu is outstanding. They do offer activities for her to participate. She is very happy here. We would recommend the care and the value of this community for other families and there loved ones.

Good Community To Live In
My mother has adjusted very well with her move to this community. She is doing great, and I'am comfortable with her move to this facility. I know she is in good hands, the staff is good. They are very friendly, and have been very helpful when needed. The community is well maintained. They have good meals, and offer good activities for the residents. All is well for my mother since her move to this community. It is a facility I would recommend to my friends, it is a good place to live.

Feels Like Home!!
The Hamptons at Greenridge is a great community to live in. My loved ones are very happy since they made the move here. The place is quiet, and the other residents are super friendly. My loved ones are really enjoying the dining experience. They get 2 meals a day. The complex is kept very clean. They have a housekeeper who comes in twice a week. The maintenance is very quick to fix any issues. The place that they're in has 2 bedrooms, with plenty of space and all handicap accessible. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
