We looked at 5 different lndependent living facilites, having some experience with independent living facilities in Chicago , zeroed in on Waltonwood for the following reasons, the location was within 15 minutes to our new home and approximately 1 1/2 miles to Rex medical center, which was a godsend since Mom needed medical services nine months after moving in. The building is fairly new & well maintained, with continuous cleaning on a daily basis, the facility has an area for outside P.T. and a physical activity gym with classes to keep residents moving.
