Since February 2024 Tuscan Gardens has improved in all areas. New management has brought in some new personnel that has a tremendous, positive difference. Food services have always been excellent. Morale has greatly improved.

The residents seemed happier and more active than other places and the staff were really responsive to our questions. Also the facility is beautiful and very new so quite open and airy.The community has very friendly staff and lots of activities for residents. They are also very attentive to any medical needs of the residents.

I met [name removed] for a tour of the Tuscan Gardens. [name removed] was incredible. I was very impressed with her obvious compassion for the residents. [name removed] greeted every resident by their name with a smile and a compliment. I could tell she treated everyone as an important member of her family. The resident's overall wellness and quality of life were paramount to [name removed] as we discussed the activities and events she planned for the residents. Unfortunately, some of the other assisted living facilities I visited did not have an employee like [name removed] , for those you could tell it was just a job, not a passion. I want my mom to be in a place where the employees are all like [name removed], part of the family.

It’s all Smoke and Mirrors
STAY AWAY! If you care anything about your parent or loved one, stay away from this facility. It is all “smoke and mirror”.
As you walk in you will babe hit with the smell of urine.
My mother was not bathed nor her hair washed for over a week till she smelled, she was dropped by staff, and needed to go to the hospital, her teeth were lost her first week, the food is dreadful and the staff never smiles

If I could give the Memory Care facility less than 1 star , I would. This place is filthy. You immediately smell urine as soon as you walk into the vestibule, before entering the actual Memory Care area. Things of my mothers constantly went missing.And over the last 3 months my mother was not being bathed properly and smelled very badly. I even complained as high up as The VP of operations. The management sees nothing wrong with the state of the facility and nothing is going to change here. So, after 8 months of complaints and hoping they would do the right things to fix their issues, I moved my mom.
Note- if you have complaints about a facility in Fl, also send information AS IT IS HAPPENING to ACHA . ACHA did an inspection of the facility and found it to be “in limits” of their guidelines. It is amazing to me what is within their guidelines. Wow!

Share my ENTHUSIASM!
My name is [name removed] and I come from Reading, PA. where I lived for about 89 years. In [date removed], I took a serious fall and my daughter brought me to Florida where she found a place with a lovely setting called Tuscan Gardens of Palm Coast. Upon arrival , I was greeted by a staff of very warm people who amazed me by knowing the residents by their first names. There are several nurses on duty, which is very comforting. Many of the medical staff visit us and check on us regularly. when they have time, they chit chat with us. They make us feel more at home. The kitchen staff do not need to be reminded if we prefer tea or coffee first thing in the morning before our breakfast is served. They have an outstanding Physical Therapy Department that I am most appreciative of the care I receive from them. They have exceptional Therapists. Not to be forgotten is the maintenance staff. They are available at all hours of the day. In my opinion, their care has gone way beyond what I have anticipated. My hat is off to the Activities Department for their hard work during the pandemic. They provide daily activities even with the challenges of wearing mask and staying 6 feet apart. My first year as a resident at Tuscan Gardens brings me hope. The caring staff and loving residents bring me happiness. I hope when you come for a visit you will share my enthusiasm.
