Most of them have false teeth or missing teeth, so soft veggies would probably be eaten more often if they were cooked a bit longer. More on the matter shy side. It would also be nice if the food could be spiced with powdered garlic, onion powder and pepper to add more flavor without causing blood pressure to rise, etc. \n\nThe staff is very friendly and helpful. They seem to try very hard, and they know most residents by name! The atrium area is very nice, and a lovely place to sit and relax after dinner with friends. It's a safe place, with someone at the front desk 24-7. When my mother calls me at night not feeling well, I can call in to notify them and they check on her immediately and get back to me about her. Also, if she doesn't go down for dinner they call and check on her or send someone to her apartment. Overall, I feel that The Lodge is a really great place for people to enjoy the rest of their lives. It's a nice environment at an affordable price for those that like the best but can't afford more. \n\nI hope that last statement makes sense. It's the nicest place for the amount one has to pay for the amenities offered. We are family-owned and operated by Caring Place Healthcare Group, who represents three generations of family members and over 50 years in senior living and skilled nursing facilities here in Cincinnati. Our owners are regularly in our community to ensure our residents receive consistency in services and nothing but the best!<br><br>Our building offers Independent and Assisted Living apartments. Our campus provides skilled nursing services just steps away from our main building.<br><br>We boast staff longevity with many of our team members with us 15-30 years.
