I had to move my Mom from her previous facility after a storm flooded the building. It was also getting too expensive, so a move was needed anyway. The Canopy is more within our budget since the city she moved from was just more costly due to being a bigger city. By comparison, The Canopy has a bigger city look of quality and style, but is in smaller Lake City. It has a feel that you want in any place of living, and it has a very comforting feel and sense of an actual home. The staff appear to be very connected with the residence in the Memory Care section. They talk to the residence as if having a conversation with a friend, not like they are talk AT them. We are allowed to decorate the room any way we like to help the surroundings be a familiar a possible. Overall, the service appears to be at the elevated level as the last facility, but with a few improvements and a lower price. I want to keep my Mom here as I feel they are a great help.
