Moving in during the pandemic year was not ideal, but the staff at Sunrise were amazing at keeping the residents engaged and active all the while keeping them safe and healthy. As they moved out of the lockdown phase, it became even more evident why moving mom to Sunrise was a great decision. The programs that are offered daily help residents get to know one another through physical as well as mental activities (balloon volleyball is a particular favorite!) Mom has made so many great friends during her time at Sunrise! As is the case with many her age she is not without medical issues. Her medications and overall health are monitored daily and the nurses are all so wonderful at keeping us appraised of mom's overall health. Each and every caregiver treats mom as if she were family. You can't as for more than that!
