They are kind and caring with my elderly mother and take the time to listen to her and what she wants and needs. They will help her on walks in the neighborhood on nice days, and sit with her as she tells stories of her family on bad weather days. They will take her to therapy and even to fun shop so she gets out. Great staff and management is very communicative. We make sure to administer the best care possible with a two-step process: First, we administer assessments and speak with caregivers and families to analyze the necessary care needed for independence and comfort. Then, we match clients with the most suitable caregivers who take on a consistent, professional, and compassionate approach to care. Home care is a unique approach to senior care, and should be performed with dignity and respect to the client and their home. Elder Care of Kansas City keeps those virtues in mind, and can always be trusted to provide the best care possible to those in need.</p> <h3>Our Services</h3> <p>Clients can rest assured that we will take care of their needs with our vast array of services. Our rigorously screened, bonded, and insured caregivers have experience assisting clients with transportation, errands, grooming, hygiene, light housekeeping, cleaning, meal preparation, emotional support, medication reminders and pick-up, mobility and range of motion exercises, and a number of other services needed to best meet a variety of needs and circumstances. Wherever home is, however often help is needed, we will be there. We understand some clients may request us to accommodate them in various facilities, such as assisted living or hospice, and we will be there.
