The staff utilize activities that the residents enjoy or build on their strengths. The director's husband takes my spouse for walks with their dog and takes him to the hardware store and has him help do projects. It is absolutely wonderful. The staff are certified in dementia care and have routine education. The caregivers love their jobs and the residents love and trust them. My spouse did not tolerate being in a larger memory facility. He was too high functioning and cried all the time wanting to come home. It is expensive but totally worth it.
