There is no buddy system or friend for hire on staff to sit with lonely, failing seniors. My mother is mostly blind, and there were no accommodations for that. The medical team is extremely limited in helping people who require care. If your senior falls in the lobby, no one is allowed to touch that person except a member of the medical team, and they may be otherwise engaged. The person on the floor has to wait. \nThe assisted living daily check-in is just that and nothing more.
