Venetian Gardens by Sky Active Living review
The amenities are just like [facility removed]. The food is better. We are going to be renovated very soon. I think biggest problem is communication between management and residents. A lot has to do with being independent living. Also some residents are not truly independent when they come into Sky Active. Keeping help is difficult as well.

Independent, not Assisted Living.
Numerous staffing problems / turnover because they are overworked.
Building starting to show signs of aging (like residents)
Management could do better on landscaping.
Some residents are too frail for independent living. Entry requirements?
Management doesn't keep simple lists like residents who have vehicles and license plates. Has to go around and ask who owns car X?
Overall, a good place to stay when you have nowhere else to go.

Our family's experience at Venetian Gardens was overall very good! The staff, facility, meals and room were great!.....
The dining room was good, just needed extra flexible hours and options. Not always strict time sit down. Seems there is never any staff around at times to ask questions too. They have had some staffing changes recently. My mom does love her apartment and the place!! In her opinion it is a 10! Our family's experience at Venetian Gardens was overall very good! The staff, facility, meals and room were great! Clean and a happy place.

Nice place to live
New management in last year. Upgrades will be made. Pleasant location.
I looked at 2 or 3 floor plans and all seemed good. Mine is 1 bedroom with kitchenette (full size refrigerator) a 3 door pantry and 2 closets in bedroom so I feel very good about the space. It is 549 sq ft.

our families experience
Our loved one likes the residents who are living there as well as the working staff members. They are nice, but there is just not enough staff, the staff turnover is high.

The courtesy van is great. Also I the midst of a dental procedure. Hair dresses is great. Based on the experience I have had so far with Venetian Gardens by Sky Active Living, I would recommend this community to other families.

Sky Active Venetian Gardens is an Independent Living facility and is not staffed 24 hours a day. A little unsettling to my mother, but we're dealing with it. The staff at this facility is great. Service in the dining hall is great. The front desk guy is very helpful. The move in process was good. There is only one elevator- no freight elevator. But we were able to make it happen. The food is the best part, my loved one is loving it! I would recommend Sky Active Venetian Gardens to others!

Venetian Gardens experience
There is a shortage of staff right now, but they are doing their best to give us good service and food.
My 549 square foot, one bedroom apartment has 2 bedroom closets, one closet/pantry in kitchen area. Kitchenette has full size refrigerator. First floor has screened in porch. There is presently no activity director so limited activity going on right now.

Warm, Friendly and Caring
My father is very happy here! The staff is caring, kind and he is greeted with a warm smile daily. He enjoys the food and the dining staff know is food preferences.
