Entertain guests in the spacious living room area and prepare your favorite snack in the convenient kitchenette. Every apartment also includes a large, wheelchair-accessible bathroom — complete with safety railings, a walk-in shower, and an emergency response system.</p>
<p>This community also offers temporary or respite care for those who are not quite ready to return home after a hospital or rehabilitation stay. Short-term stays are also available for those interested in the community but not quite ready to make a long-term commitment. <p>The Waterford at Colby is a <em>community based residential facility (CBRF)</em>, which in the state of Wisconsin is a facility that provides care, treatment, and other services to five or more unrelated adults who need supportive or protective services or supervision. CBRFs are limited to those who do not require care above intermediate nursing care or more than three hours of nursing care per week. CBRFs are categorized by size, the resident's ability to evacuate, and disability/condition or status.</p>
