Awesome Experience!
My father was only there a month before he passed away - but I would give them a 5 in all areas. Everyone is very helpful. If you have a concern about any area or staff they address it immediately. The Lodge is a nice place to live in!

Mom’s move to The Lodge
My mom has lived at The Lodge for about 3 months. It took about 1 month to acclimate to the lifestyle change. Since then, she is enjoying the facility quite a bit & is happy she is there. She likes the food, the caregivers, the laundry service & the opportunity to socialize if she chooses. It feels like home because she was able to move quite a bit of her furniture & decor in with her. She likes that the caregivers all know her name. The small footprint of the building fits her mobility level. She is happy to be there!

The lodge and everyone there has been excellent. I would highly recommend I looked at just about every facility in town and the lodge was by far the best.

The Lodge is Beautiful Place
If you want your loved ones to go to Beautiful Place this is the one. The staff is very friendly. The food is great. It’s a Small Community but that’s what we liked about it. Very Clean . We did a lunch tour and viewed the facility. [name removed] was very helpful.

Highly Recommended
The Lodge at Grand Junction is a small 2-story facility with around 30 rooms, I believe. All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is outstanding. Housekeeping is good. The trash is emptied multiple times a day. Communication with the family is very good. Meds are distributed according to doctors' requirements. Pets are welcome with a small deposit, $350, I believe. We toured multiple facilities before deciding on The Lodge. I highly recommend it here.

reluctant to recommend due to high turnover of staff and difficult management personnel
Nice facility, great care providers, high turnover of staff, poor management. Generally pretty clean, but occasional poor cleaning in residents rooms/bathrooms. The care staff was wonderful, but management staff was difficult to work with. So bad I have moved my family member to another community. The activities were too few. And I spent too much money for services that I then had to spend a lot of time in the community insuring he received care that had been agreed to by management.

Look no further, this is the most wonderful place for your loved one!
All of the staff at The Lodge at Grand Junction were amazing! You can call or stop by anytime. The housekeeping came daily for trash. The food was in transition as they lost two people, but they continued great service. The move in and out process was very easy. I would DEFINITELY recommend The Lodge at Grand Junction to others! [Name removed]was my first contact and she is caring and loving and was SO helpful for the whole process! I am very grateful for a place for mom and dad!

Beautiful community, friendly staff.
The day to day staff was very helpful, however the administrative staff were difficult to work with. There was very night turnover with their staff which was not helpful. I would give a guarded recommendation here, the families must stay actively involved when advocating for your loved one.

An Exceptional Senior Assisted Care Facility
I've spent a lot of time there and met all the staff. I've stayed there. It's a five-star facility all around It's a brand new building. Everything is spotless and brand spanking new. All the rooms are beautiful and new. The rooms are large, and so are the bathrooms, which is great for elderly people to get in and out of in a wheelchair The rooms also have a kitchenette with a full-size refrigerator. No stove, but that's pretty standard. And then you get to bring your own furniture and hang your own art. It's like her own home transported over to the apartment. The food is excellent - three full-service meals a day, terrific dining staff, a chef there, and they have a menu and everything. I was surprised at how extensive it was. They have multiple care levels that are all-inclusive - rent, cable, utilities, meals, and care are all included, so there are no other bills. It's a relatively small community. I think there are about 36-48 rooms total between all the care levels. They have a shuttle service every day to take residents to the doctor or to the bank, and they go on trips out to dinner. They also have a salon on-site where the stylist comes once a week by appointment. There's a spa you can reserve for an extra cost. They also have several game rooms and a movie theater with about 12 giant movie chairs in it and a big screen. It even has movie theater signs out front announcing the next showing. And there are several lounge areas with big screen TVs to sit around and just do nothing. Every day there are multiple activities to participate in - bingo, cooking lessons, sewing, checkers and chess, and all sorts of other things. It's also one block across the street from best hospital in all of western Colorado. Obama even came there to visit during his presidency because of their accolades to see how they were doing things. I think The Lodge is a great value, and very reasonable compared to other places in the area.

Comfortable and satisfied
The Lodge is always kept clean and its a nice place. Some staff are extremely friendly but others are not as friendly. The care is good, nothing we have been dissatisfied with. They are constantly trying to keep residents engaged and even through the COvid-19 pandemic, they have offered ways to stay connected like a drive through parade so families could see their loved ones from a safe distance. We have thought they have done a really good job through this making the residents comfortable and safe.
