The addition of a Director and RN has made it such a better place. Always someone there to be able to talk to on issues and they do get addressed. An industry that is not for everyone. It takes someone special to do these jobs. Everything is well taken care of but could use some updating, mainly the carpet. The cleaning lady does an excellent job. I have gotten to know the staff and they are always so nice. So nice to be greeted by them calling me by my name. They have always been so friendly and caring to my husband. He in turn has had some very bad days and giving them a very unnecessary hard time. As rushed as they maybe, always are pleasant. They are doing the best they can. Like any other place shortage of staff is an issue. Not always easy to be 2 places at once. Would I like it different “yes”. But understand at times not possible. Maybe understaffed and under paid. My husband always tells me how good the food is. No complaints by him! Seems there is always something going on that the residents could partake in. Puzzles, movies, music entertainment, card games, games etc. just happens my husband is not interested but it is very available if he wanted to. He never was interested in these things when he was at home When it comes to the value for cost, not sure I can rate this. At times “priceless”. I understand what it was like to care for him at home and when I could no longer do it, this is when I needed to get help.
