After checking different places we liked the atmosphere here. Lots of different things to do. Great dinning. Staff is very friendly. Great apartments. I have visited this facility to see my friend many times. She is very happy here.

Our families experience
Overall, a great community. Highly recommend independent living. For assisted living they are wonderful if you need minimal assistance, such as meals and help with medicines. If you need more skilled nursing, such as insulin shots, or help with mobility, this may not be the place for you.

Gallery at North Port Review
The staff are all very helpful. There is a big difference between independent living and assisted living, my loved one moved last week.
The rooms in assisted living are okay. The amenities are okay as well but they charge extra for everything.

Review for The Gallery at North Port
I think the Gallery at North Port, is an outstanding facility. I meet with their reps, before having my stepmom, committing to reside there. Their public areas, daily activities, and residential living areas, are top notch. I was told the food choices and quality of items served, were also great. I noticed a lot of residents commingling together. A very good sign too. When it's my turn to consider other options, there would be no reason for me not to go to the Gallery, as my 1st choice.

Mom is happy and so are we!
Found "A place for Mom" online and called the contact number for the area my Mom lives in South Florida and wants to remain in for the foreseeable future. Talked with a Rep who was very knowledegable and accommodating. She was able to set up a number of tours to Senior Communities in that area which I was able to take my Mom to and visit with the staff and residents. My Mom, 88, wouldn't have done this on her own. But she was willing and interested in seeing what was available. I recall my Brother and I were were very impressed with the Gallery's apartment accommodations, as well as amenities, like the Pool and Dining Room as well as the friendliness of the staff and residents.
We thought it was the best of what we had seen during our brief time investigating what would convince our Mom to willingly leave her home of 30 years. She is very happy at the Gallery and says she feels like she's staying at a resort with so many things to do! We feel it's a very good place for her to thrive.

We love it!
She loves it there and everything about the Gallery is top notch!
The facility is more deluxe than any other place we saw in the area. Also, the staff is consistent with very little turnover. My mom is always clean, well dressed and her room is spotless.

Overall a nice community
What our family has liked the most about The Gallery at North Port is the friendliness of the staff. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would maybe recommend them to other families. It is very expensive, sometimes we go in and the room does not smell fresh but I understand that they cannot clean every second. But for the cost I still have to buy supplies to help clean the room.

The staff are all extremely friendly and outgoing. They are very adaptable to you needs and wants. House keeping is meticulous. In my sister's apartment on the independent side, they will do a good cleaning once a week on a schedule so she can plan accordingly. The food is very good. The chief is truly interested in what you think. My sister doesn't eat red meat and we asked if they had veggie burgers or any substitutes. They didn't, but he worked with her and now they have a few options for the non red meat person. He really listens to you. The move is was smooth, no issues.

Love this place!
Employees are wonderful, caring, helpful, responsive and service orientated. Food is very good. Activities are diversified so everyone can participate. Residents all appear happy as do all of the workers.

My mother loved it at The Gallery
We toured a few places, but The Gallery stood out for both my mother and I. I loved the overall design and amenities, as well as the new condition and lovely apartments. She also really liked the location literally across the street from shopping and services.
We both really came to appreciate the caring and hardworking staff. They seem glad to be there, and always have a great attitude. The residents also are very friendly and mom quickly found a number of friends and started a bookclub. The food was a bit shaky for awhile, but the current chef is great and works really hard to please. He generally comes into the dining room to get feedback, which shows his care and professionalism.
I can't say enough nice things about The Gallery - it's beautiful, loaded with amenities and activities, and full of nice people, residents and staff.

Compassion Beyond the Pale
The loving compassion and care extended to our family member by the staff of The Gallery Memory Care unit exceeded all expectations on both a personal and professional level.
We, as a family were rewarded with happy stories, photographs, a shared bit of laughter or a phone call during our loved one's better days in the unit. During the trying times of our loved one's illness, we received kindness, support, hugs, tears and so many caring gestures. Regardless of the circumstance, Gallery staff rose to the occasion in both client care and in family outreach during what was a difficult time in our loved one's life (and in our own).
Even our Hospice care workers praised the facility. One worker said that of the 100+ places she has done Hospice work in over her career, The Gallery is one of the top two she has worked in. That says everything.

Peace of mind

The Gallery experience
My brother has been a resident for 6 months. He has expressed sincere happiness about his experiences living here. He was impressed from the moment he walked in and saw the beautiful baby grand piano. He thoroughly enjoys the friendly staff and beautiful environment. He enjoys gathering with residents at the beautiful bar while sipping on a cool beverage and enjoying the entertainment . The pool area provides a tranquil place for him to relax.There’s always something to do. The Gallery provides an array of activities to choose from through out each day. I highly recommend The Gallery if you’re looking for a place that feels like home.

Can’t Wait To Move In!
From the first phone call to arrange a visit, to just getting ready to move in, it has been a professional and personable experience. Meeting [name removed] and touring the facility was both informative and enjoyable. The Gallery at North Port is as beautiful as any 5 star resort and has all the amenities you can imagine. I visited all levels of rooms from studios to 2 BR/2BA villas w/garage. All were spacious, well-equipped, and spotless. I enjoyed lunch with [name removed] and a resident. The food was delicious and top quality. The Chef himself, even came out and introduced himself. While touring, I met many residents and all were friendly, welcoming, and nothing but satisfied and pleased with their “home”.
I am scheduled to move to a villa on the [removed] and can’t wait to begin my new life, meeting new friends, participating in activities, and enjoy my “home”. I urge all who are seeking a facility to visit The Gallery at North Port. I dare you to beat it, amenities and/or dollars.
