Excellent staff
The entire staff is wonderful and truly caring. My mom loves the food and enjoys having a doctor on staff who is attentive to her needs. Her room is the perfect size, with a queen bed, a comfortable lounge chair, a TV, a dresser, and a nice walk-in shower.
The facility also has a lovely outdoor area where residents can sit and enjoy the fresh air or take a short walk. Since my mom is in memory care, the environment is understandably more structured and secure than assisted living, which gives our family peace of mind. Overall, we are very pleased with the care, accommodations, and support she receives.

Valid Reasons Why I Don't Trust Care Facilities.
My family member is a vulnerable adult living with dementia, and I expected their care to be provided in an environment that prioritized their safety, dignity, appropriate supervision, and overall well-being.
There were several incidents that concerned me and reasons I rated my overall experience as a 2.5.
One particularly troubling incident involved me driving up to the facility and seeing my family member outside completing a run while staff were looking and holding up their cell phones (as if they were recording the activity). Given my family member’s cognitive impairment and need for appropriate supervision, I found this behavior inappropriate and concerning. I don't know why this activity was permitted, whether it was considered part of an approved activity or care plan, and why staff were recording it.
I was also concerned about the decision to place my family member in the assisted living area rather than memory care. Based on their cognitive needs, I believed memory care would have been the more appropriate placement. I was told, however, that there were more staff available to assist them on the assisted living side. Later, I wondered whether the placement decision was based on my family member’s actual care and safety needs and whether an appropriate assessment was made to best meet the needs of the facility.
During the stay, my family member’s clothing and cell phone were lost and never recovered.
I also experienced concerns regarding billing. I paid for an additional day in advance specifically so that I could bring furniture into the facility, even though my family member did not stay that day. Despite this, there was an attempt to charge me for another day based on furniture having been left at the facility. I found this particularly concerning because I had already paid for the day associated with bringing the furniture into the facility, and my family member was not occupying the room for an additional day.
All of these incidents have raise concerns for me and are the reasons I would not take my family member back to the facility.

A Clean, Welcoming Community with Compassionate Care
The community was very clean and organized and inviting. The staff members are wonderful and loving people, and I could see the love and dedication they have for caring for the elderly. Regardless of where you place your loved one, it is important to stay engaged with their care. Mom passed away [Date removed]of last year. Even though I did not want to place her anywhere, I am overall satisfied with TerraBella Fayetteville. No place is perfect, and I encounter some issues, but the staff worked with me to correct things.

I like the cleanliness of the facility. They could improve on keeping up better with the residents belongings. My husband was missing clothes & his cell phone. Although his diagnosis deals with memory loss, I felt the workers should help better with keeping track of those things. Definitely an overall 3 for experience.

Awful place. There's no one working at the front desk, it's dark in there and the food is terrible and the amount of food is insufficient. My mother had only two tater tots as her side item one day for dinner. The place needs to be shut down.

The time that mom was there, short of two months, I now know it was the period that the facility was transitioning from one company to what it is today. That being said mom seemed to be well taken care of. Her room was always clean and I know the staff overseeing her care were sympathetic to her reality. She did say that she liked the food that was served. I was very disappointed that there wasn't much offered as activities, gym or any type of service to keep the residents' minds more active. The activities that were offered, religious and choir, mom enjoyed.

Caring and safe
Over all my Dad is safe and he is taking his medication more regularly then before. He does well with routine. And he has one lady friend.
The manage change this year has really been difficult. They notified all the residents personally an increase of rent. This causes a lot of difficulty for us as Dad get paranoid about money and my brother is acting as his power of attorney.
