My experience with Tequesta Terrace has been very positive! The community relations representative was warm and helpful in the early stages. Since then, all staff have been kind and I feel that my mom is being cared for in a loving way. The facilty is clean and activities seem to be plentiful.

The building itself is immaculate!
The beach decor is serene and inviting.
[name removed] gave the best tour with all the fixins, from meeting the concierge extraordinaire, Executive director, Life Enrichment and the nurses. I could tell from all the conversations that I had this was the right choice! They all genuinely care, are attentive to the residents needs and actually know the residents by name! Not always the case at ALFs. I am extremely happy with moms apartment, view and location which is next to care station, elevator and dining room. She has only been there a short time and is still getting acclimated, but I can tell from the interactions with the staff she likes it. She is always Smiling!
I really appreciate being able to call the front desk and speak with the wonderful concierge team, and connect with my mom's room, which helps tremendously!
The care team is knowledgeable, communicative, and available by phone as well as email for any medical concerns. They All Care!

Wonderful place
Tequesta Terrace has a very “resort like” feel to it - it is all around lovely. The management team is helpful, reachable and warm. The “vibe” is great - you walk in and can’t help but love it. Highly recommend.

What a beautiful Community!
The renovations are absolutely stunning! Tequesta Terrace is a beautiful community! The staff and residents are happy and friendly! I really enjoyed my visit. There are different size apartments and many different common areas which are decorated beautifully.

Mother was satisfied. Difficult communication as staff don’t return calls. Billing issues with frequent changes in staff. Quickly, moved to memory care without exploring other options.

My mother has been in residence for 13 years at TEQUESTA Terrace. We love knowing that she is well cared for and happy. You can have a beautiful place with lots of ambiance but unless you have the correct staff it’s just a facility.Under the direction of [name removed] the executive director TEQUESTA Terrace has the caring, friendly and efficient staff it needs. It has functioned well during this difficult last year. My family and I are so grateful Mom lives here.

I would highly recommend Tequesta Terrace. My Mom has been living there for 5 years. She started out in the assisted living side and sadly had to move a few years later to the Memory Care Unit.
Everything about having a parent or loved one age is hard to watch, but it is comforting to know they are well taken care of at Tequesta Terrace.
They have been through hurricanes and of course most recently the pandemic.
Their Executive Director [name removed], has been a guiding force through all of it.

Tequesta Terrace very closely resembles a resort. Very impressed! Impeccably clean and well maintained. The management is helpful, professional and easy to work with. This community always decorates for the holiday, we did get a chance to try the food and it was very good. The room sizes were just the right size. This is very close to home which we loved. We would recommend this to a family or friend

I have confidence in this property
My mom is delicate when it comes to food so the food has been bothering her. The staff is doing a good job caring for the residents during the quarantine and trying to keep them busy. It is a very clean and friendly community. The apartments and rooms are a good size. They could use a better walking path around the community. They do have a nice courtyard and fountain for residents to enjoy.

After my friend told me glowing things about Tequesta Terrace, and our local therapist said he felt it was “worlds above” other options, our family checked it out for my father and step-mother. And I am most impressed! It is a beautiful and welcoming community with great food and an abundance of activities. Their charity event honoring veterans showed real heart on the local TV news. All told, my family and I are very happy with the quality of care and community life at Tequesta Terrace!

We loved this place. A lot of amenities. The place was clean and updated. The tour guide had her dog attend the tour- Mom would love that. She also greeted all the residents by name. The only downside was the studio apartment was so small. Only room for a twin bed with a lazy boy chair. Felt like a closet.

Please rethink if considering, the building itself is beautiful and well decorated, but talk to any employee in the (if you can find one willing to acknowledge you) and you will realize how little EVERYONE in there cares... not a place to send anyone you care about, I wouldn’t put my worst enemy through that complete neglect.

We chose Sonata Memory Care facility at Tequesta Terrace for my father. They are well staffed with highly trained personnel and the facility was very clean and bright. They offer many activities to keep Dad's mind stimulated and I feel he will be in good hands here.

Too small!
The independent living side was very small, this community was more dedicated to assisted living. I wanted somewhere with a bigger group of independent living residents. The architecture was gorgeous and the woman was very frank about everything.
