Meeting with the children, we shared our choice with our family. Our grown children toured with us again there. There wasn’t any doubt that sylvan filled his needs. He was placed there and was taken care of like family! We had become a family and team , meeting his needs and our requests. Since his passing, I still visit with the staff and residents there. I highly recommend Sylvan Crossing to anyone wanting excellent care for their family member. My husband said to me almost daily “I don’t know if I picked out this place or if we did it together, but they sure take good care of me here” it brought me great comfort to know this. The facility was fantastic! The home like atmosphere, cleanliness, size of room was just what we wanted. It was not too small to have nice activities and not too large that he became just a number. The staff was so caring and answered all his needs. The staff size was better than any of the places we researched. Meals were wonderful. He was so well cared for that my children know that this is where I want to be when I can no longer be alone. It was so welcoming and friendly and I can’t say enough good things about them. They loved and cared for him until he passed. I have no regrets about our decision to place him there. Many times he remarked about sylvan crossing was the right choice for him and how respected the staff made him feel.
