Sunshine Village is a Blessing
If you are reading this review, I would imagine you are caring for a loved one that has some form of Alzheimer's or Dementia and is progressing. Our mother was declining and needed further full time care. If you have begun the search to find a facility or community that cares for loved ones with memory loss, you already know how difficult this task is and will become. As you begin your search, you either find a facility that is out of your price range or looks like a hospital environment with little or no ongoing stimulation-emotionally or physically. Certainly not a place you envision your loved one to be happy, truly cared for and loved. It was an incredible blessing when my daughter came across Sunshine Village in Phoenix. I was greeted on the phone by the most amazing, dedicated and truly loving women [name removed], the Community Resource Director. [Name removed] truly listens to the needs of your loved one and the family, and assesses the situation to ensure that Sunshine Village is the proper placement for your loved one. When we toured Sunshine Village, I truly felt that God guided us here. IT IS A COMMUNITY UNLIKE ANY OTHER! Security is of the utmost importance, the grounds are beautifully kept, the staff is always welcoming and pleasant. The setting is exactly a little community of 7-4,000 sq ft cottages placed in a cul-de-sac setting that is completely secure, where your loved one can walk and visit throughout the community. Sunshine Village is truly a "Safe Haven". [Name removed] went above and beyond to assist us in placing Mom in the appropriate cottage within Sunshine Village (along with [name removed]-Head Nurse) to ensure Mom was placed with other loved ones on the same level of memory loss and mobility. [Name removed], the Director of Sunshine Village is compassionate and also has dedicated a lot of love into this community. They have stimulating daily activities that include motor skills-exercise-social interaction just to name a few, [name removed] who takes the time to make your loved one feel special in the Salon, 24 hr assistance through caregivers that tend to the needs of daily needs, meals-hygiene-housekeeping. Thank you to everyone at Sunshine Village for giving our Mother a beautiful community that she can call home. Our family feels extremely blessed and at peace that our Mother is now being cared for with love.

Sunshine village cares about my mom
I’m so thankful for Sunshine Village I believe the administration and their team really have created a special Haven for people like my mom. We have been with Sunshine Village for at least six or seven years . I feel my mom is getting the best kindest care by people that really know their job. I know them. It doesn’t matter when I come visit morning nite day my mom is bathed clean beautiful and happy. The nurses, caregivers, medtechs, activities people are very intentional about giving the best care. They are always friendly to my mom and to us . Medically we have the best nurses and med techs. Socially they always have fun activities geared just for them and their needs . I have peace knowing my mom is in loving hands and a place that really cares for the elderly. I am very particular about my mom and they are always willing to do what it takes to make us happy. I would recommend SV as the best place for your precious mom or loved one. From the moment you walk in you will see why it’s called Sunshine Village. I thank God for these people and I pray they will always be blessed for doing such a great job. Sincerely [name removed]

Great Director!!
I have no complaints about how things are going for my dad since he made the move into this community. The staff are wonderful especially the memory care director. She has worked for close with my dad and has kept in good communication with my family and I about his care. Overall we are very happy with how things are going and would recommend it to anyone.

This was our favorite group community that we visited on this day. Judy was very nice and extremely informative and helpful. The facilities looked clean, smelled pleasant, and the residents seemed happy. The grounds, even though secured, seemed open and inviting as well as very well maintained.
