We're So Happy With the Move
I would tell anyone to go there now. We are really happy with it. The staff communication is very good. I can call them anytime and they get right back to me. Very well groomed in the fall and summer. They have a wooded area around the community. There is a view from my loved one's apartment and they have a view of the capital area.

The better view
I think the people should be sure to choose whether they want to live facing the hallways or facing the green acreage in the center. To me the back is so much nicer so you can watch wildlife, people walking, and it is very pretty and well kept. I would recommend to others who are looking.

Best place ever
It is the friendliness place I have ever been. The residents and employees are very helpful and very friendly. We have had no cases of COVID. There are 100 people here and the staff know everyone by their name. During COVID the activities were amazing, they brought us breakfast, we had happy hours every Friday with beer and wine, ice cream on Tuesday, etc. The community also has a swimming pool and hot tub that has just opened back up. The activities were stopped due to COVID, but they are slowly beginning again. I have a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment and it is very spacious. There are walk in closets as well as walk in showers. My favorite part about the community would be the family atmosphere, I know I have a circle of 20 friends that would be there for me if I ever needed anything. I would highly recommend, especially because of the friendliness and people go out of their way to help residents.

I love it here
I live here currently with my pets and everything is going very well. The building is fairly new, under 7 years old I believe, the staff is more than easy to communicate with and they’re very proactive. The office staff are the ones that actually prepare the continental breakfast, they come out and interact with the other residents, and just a couple of weeks ago they had a Pilgrim Feast where they served a full turkey dinner with all the sides and an instrumental trio came by for music. They had a girls’ softball team from the area come by and serve the dinner and there was even dancing afterwards, it was a wonderful evening. Everything I’ve asked to have done, they’ve been very gracious and cooperative to do it. I’m extremely happy here and I haven’t met any other resident yet that hasn’t been very friendly and welcoming. The facility is kept very clean and they do offer housekeeping but it’s at an extra charge. However, I’ve been able to use my own house keeper that I’ve had for numerous years. The price I pay per month includes everything like basic TV, internet, an indoor heated pool, sauna, whirlpool, and a number of other amenities. I also have a garage, which they went out of their way to find me, and it’s near the exit to my apartment. That is an additional cost but there’s extra storage in it. My apartment has a patio and is on the first floor so I’m able to come and go as I’d like. There was an offer the facility had where they were able to reserve my room without me having to pay on it while I was trying to sell my home and I thought that was great. They’ve really gone out of their way to bend over backwards for me and help when I need them to. I would recommend them.

A Place for Mom has scored Summit at Eastwyck 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
