Extremely caring place for mom!
Our mom has been a resident for over 5 years. She has a beautiful, clean room and has great medical care. The staff there is very friendly and caring.
About the facility Silver Leaf Northwest 9th Street
Our Silver Leaf location at 921 NW 9th Street in Grand Prairie is a truly unique home, originally designed following the famous Frank Lloyd Wright architectural style. Floor-to-ceiling windows in the common area provide bright views of the landscaped private backyard and courtyard. There are currently 6 private suites, and will be expanding to 9 in the next few months, along with a few other touch ups throughout the property.
This home is easy to get to, situated just southeast of the intersection of I-30 and President George Bush Turnpike SH 161. Silver Leaf Grand Prairie is also a short 6-minute drive from the horse racing track and concert venue, Lone Star Park.

How thankful we are for you and your management over Colip House. The house was such a tremendous blessing to us. The quality of care and the overall atmosphere can't compare. We never worried about the level of care she received. The staff was wonderful!! It really did feel like one big extended family.

My dear friend and mentor lives at Colip House PBH Residential Care Homes and loves it. To use her words, "It is like manna from heaven." I cannot begin to express how grateful I am for the excellent care and stellar attention given to her every need. Particularly important to me is the individual care given to each resident for birthdays, special holidays, and weekly events. I visited my Grandmother for the first time and was overwhelmed at how well their residents are cared for. The staff here really love these people and treat them as if they are family. I can't say enough how much I care for this place (Colip House) and the level of excellent care my grandma and her neighbors are receiving.

Misleading!
The tour went well. They answered all my questions. The community was clean and neat and the residents were out and about. I just felt like they mislead me. I explained my situation to them and they still went forward. It just was not the right place for my mother in law.

A change of lifestyle!!
The caregivers at this care home are good at communication. We have assurance that my parents are receiving ongoing care in a caring environment. The home is clean and well maintained. The food is good and they do offer some variety. They have activities available and scheduled music guests. . I would recommend this home.

Taking Good Care of My Parents
My parents are doing great here at this care home. Everything has worked out great. They have a wonderful staff here, they are always willing to help. They do a good job with the cleaning. When I visit the community and their room are very well-kept. There are nice activities offered for the residents. The food could use some improvements, but they do serve well balanced meals. They are safe and in good hands here. I would recommend this community.

Very nice looking residential care home
I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. However, my loved one was a bit beyond the level of care they provide here. I really liked the look of the place though, and it would have been at the top of my list if our care needs were a better fit.
