<p>Common areas are bright, open, and well kept, featuring lovely Craftsman interiors with cleanly upholstered Tudor-style furniture, wingback chairs, and classic wood tables and hutches. Wallpaper is pristine and updated while cheerful floral drapes frame windows.

<p>Our on-site activities coordinator makes sure to have stimulating social activities and events planned all year round. We also welcome residents to kick-start their own interest clubs, with many existing already across a variety of interests, e.g., our Ladies’ Tea club. Parties are another way we enjoy spending our time together, with birthdays and holidays being a great time for all. With so many options for grand scenery and recreation in our area, off-site trips are another resident favorite. We welcome everyone’s participation across a range of ever-exciting events, games, and trips. Just let our activities coordinator know what interests you.</p>

Our small-town charm adds a little extra for those who appreciate the ease of slow-paced living and mountain-country life. Centralia may be a small town, but it has your necessities covered. For any grocery needs there is a Safeway just half a mile down the road. For any acute and emergency medical needs, rest assured as Providence Centralia Hospital is less than 4 miles away from us. Visiting guests and friends will be delighted to experience the old-world-themed fun of McMenamins Olympic Club hotel, just 2.5 miles from our home, with its swanky vintage darkwood, stained glass, and art-nouveau details that will make you feel like you stepped back in time. Their attached bar, theatre, pool-hall, and restaurant are highly rated local favorites. Nearby Olympia is also home to numerous local festivals and musical venues.</p>
<h3>Medical Services</h3>
<p>Our licensed and experienced staff is available around the clock for any immediate needs of our residents. We provide multiple tiers of care services and will work with you as your needs evolve. Regular wellness checks can be provided by qualified staff to wholly monitor your individual needs. Visiting nurses, doctors, specialists, and therapists make frequent visits to Sharon Care Center to help address any care or rehabilitation needs of residents. <h3>Care Types</h3>
<p>Sharon Care Center is licensed to provide <em>adult residential care</em>, <em>enhanced adult residential care</em>, <em>specialized dementia care</em>. These terms are defined as follows:</p>
<h3>Adult Residential Care (ARC)</h3>
<p>This service package includes helping a resident who is able to take his/her own medication but needs some help (e.g. a reminder to take it or the medication handed to him/her) and personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, personal hygiene). Residents who need to be monitored for their safety may get limited supervision.</p>
<h3>Enhanced Adult Residential Care (EARC)</h3>
<p>This service package includes all of the services as listed in the Adult Residential Care (ARC) package above and help for a resident who can’t take his/her own medication (medication administration). Some type of nursing care must be provided occasionally. No more than two people will share a room.</p>
<h3>Specialized Dementia Care Services</h3>
<p>This service package includes all services as outlined in the Enhanced Adult Residential Care package above and additional services for a resident with dementia.</p>
