A place for Dad
This is a small facility with great staff and communication, I have no concerns for my fathers care, they do a great job caring for dad
The facility is open for visiting 24/7 all staff makes us fill welcome during our visit. Dad appears very comfortable at Loomis Villa and responds to the staff, they are very patient with him during his difficult times, I think this is the best place he could be

The Senior Care Villa of Loomis is located in Loomis, California, just over half an hour's drive from Sacramento. We are an assisted living community that specializes in caring for senior citizens with memory-inhibiting conditions, such as Alzheimer's. At Senior Care Villa of Loomis, your loved one will receive the care he or she deserves. We design programs for our residents on an individual basis with recommendations from each resident's physician and family. Our specially trained staff understands the struggles senior citizens and their families go through when confronting memory problems, and we want to make your loved one's golden years as fulfilling as possible. We treat all our residents with compassion, courtesy, and respect while ensuring that they are well cared for. Wonderful and caring staff
The staff at this facility are very kind, attentive and helpful. They are always doing some fun and engaging activities with the patients here. I visit a lot of facilities for my job and you can feel how much they care in this facility.

Relieved alot of anxiety
We recently toured Loomis memory care for my father. It was super stressful and our family had alot of anxiety. From the moment we entered the facility, [name removed] took care of us. She knew exactly what our family was going through. The facitliy was beautiful and the staff was super friendly. Unfortunately my father passed away before he could become a resident there. I would recommend this facility solely because of the empathy , love and understanding they had towards our family and our needs

Great Community!
I had the pleasure of working with Senior Care Villa of Loomis as an agency, and it was an outstanding experience. The leadership of the executive director truly stands out—she was highly professional, approachable, and proactive in ensuring everything ran smoothly. Her clear communication and hands-on involvement created an environment of collaboration and efficiency that made my work seamless.
The facility itself is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized to prioritize the comfort and safety of its residents. The staff, guided by such effective leadership, are courteous and responsive, always demonstrating a genuine commitment to the well-being of the residents.

Wonderful care by the wonderful staff
I would definitely recommend Senior Care Villa of Loomis to anyone who is needing memory care for their loved one. The staff is wonderful. The nurse is always on top of it and Llona is so caring and wonderful and she will make sure your loved one's needs are being addressed and taken care of right away!

Bad
My husband was there 2 weeks. Supplied them with unopened eye drops which they never opened . They lost his hearing aids . He contacted covid there and they didn't seem to care when told . He died a week and a half after I picked him up

This is a good facility. They take loving care of the residents. The staff is very helpful. Communication is absolutely perfect. They keep me updated on my husband's needs and changes. I couldn't ask for more. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Great Care for Grandmother
My moved my grandmother to Senior Care Villa since it was so close to home. She needs extra help with dressing, grooming and bathing. She resisted any help from me or my family at home. She likes the staff at Senior Care Villa and is cooperative with them to help her stay sanitary and clean. She is pampered there almost every day and even gets her manicure with her favorite color. It is the little things that make her happy and I was so thrilled to see that they care enough for her to make her happy in such ways. I don’t know how much time I have with her left but I am happy to see her enjoying her new home.

My mother and I toured Senior Care Villa and were impressed with the openness and the décor of the place. It felt really homey and comfortable. I choose this home for my mother and I have been very happy with my decision. She is active and thriving compared to just sitting at home. She enjoys all their activities and good food.

Loving Care for my Father
I think this was the best place for my Father. We was asked to leave by a few facilities because of his dementia and agitation. When I brought him to Senior Care Villa was not sure if the same would happen again, but I was pleasantly surprised how well he adjusted and has a good quality of life at this new home. I am so happy to have found this gem and now I can sleep peacefully at night knowing that he is good hands.

Best Care I Could Ask For
My experience with Senior Care Villa was the best during the difficult time of caring for my Mother. All the staff was respectful and compassionate. [name removed] was an angel and she was always there to comfort me at all times. I could sit here and write pages of all the kindness that I experienced, but no one would read that much here. I highly recommend this facility for anyone who is looking for the best care of their loved one.

Alzheimer only. Maybe that is why it seemed a little off putting so I want to give them the benefit of the doubt. Nonetheless, the place is well worn (or well loved - I guess that depends on how you look at it). They have all the bases covered and it seemed adequate, although you have other options at this price point.

I would not put my dog there!
My tour of Loomis Senior Care Vila was the worse experience ever. The manager was obviously a hoarder and the place stunk very badly, I spent about 30 seconds there before leaving, I would not recommend them.

This is a very nice, quiet, and home-like Memory Care home. There is a nice schedule of activities for the residents. Roxana, who co-manages the facility, gave me a tour. She is very professional and kind. It appears to be well-maintained, & clean. The large deck in back looks out over some nice trees and open space. On the day I visited, the residents sitting in the common living room appeared to have advanced stage Alzheimers (as does my father). This facility is located adjacent to Del Oro High School and Roxana tells me that they have volunteers from Del Oro, which is appealing. They also have activities led twice a week by a volunteer from St. Peter and Paul Church, which might be nice for my Dad, who is religious. All the rooms in the main facility are private rooms with half bath, equipped with grab bars. Shower rooms are off the main hallway and are well-equipped although perhaps a bit small.
