Don’t be fooled.
My parents were in rm [removed]. Every week was a battle from diesel fumes building in room [removed] from the generator outside the window and management did nothing to make them more comfortable but that was not the worse thing. We couldn’t count on Provisions being there for us in our time of need. My Mom fell and broke her hip, had surgery went thru rehab at a different facility and was walking 50 to 100 ft. Mom was released, you would think she would just go back to her home at Provisions but that was not the case. Provisions gave us an ultimatum either we bring in full time skilled nursing care or hospice or she wasn’t allowed to come back. I don’t think anyone should be able to give an ultimatum like that. The facility is not set up to take care of much beyond everyday living & medication. Read the fine print. Please consider this when picking a place for your family, know their needs and understand the facilities limitations. My Mom died 3 days after returning. Management is the problem.

A place that truly feels like home...for your loved one and the entire family
My loved one is currently a resident at Provision Living at West Clermont. Every person that we have dealt with from the beginning of the process, to the nursing staff and the dining room staff, has been amazing. They treat my loved one and all of us like family, not like it's a job. They have so many amazing activities and we can go and eat meals with our loved one for $10 and the food is great quality. The move in process was easy and they had my loved one's room ready to move in like they planned. I would absolutely recommend Provision Living at West Clermont to anyone. They are amazing!

Looks Great Going In. . .
They seemed great going in. But my father was exhibiting behaviors that they were not equipped to handle. So they sent him to a private mental hospital, which led to a series of events that involved his further decline, and ultimately Provision Living said they could not take him back. There is a lot of staff turnover at Provision Living, which I understand is common. The people in higher up positions - HR, Director of Nursing, etc. - are great. But I wish they would have been honest going in and told me that my father needed more care than they could give. It was just not a good fit for us. There's a lot they cannot do from a care perspective, including caring for wounds. They are pretty much there solely for monitoring the residents and giving out medications. If your loved one is ambulatory and just needs looking after, that's fine. But my father was beyond that. And I wish they had been upfront about that from the beginning.

Satisfactory So Far
So far I am not unhappy with the experience with the community. The staff are good to work with if the family has questions or concerns about our loved one.
There are three meals a day served to the residents and there are options to choose from. Some of the activities, include shopping, meals out in the community, entertainment, and more for the residents to engage with.
Provision Living has ways to monitor the residents in their room and this is very innovative to create a baseline activity reading. The residents are allowed to have pets as long as the residents are able to care for their pets.

My loved one doesn't like it here, and they want to move out. My loved one doesn't like the meals and the additional care for my loved ones are not being received and this is a concern.
The food taste, quality, and selections could be better for the residents. The community needs to make sure the food is being served hot, as it arrives to the residents cold currently.
Entertainers, bingo, ice cream socials, and more are some of the activities offered to the residents.

A Very Caring Community That Puts the Care of the Family and Resident First
I was impressed with the staff; however, they were short staffed like everyone is today. Everyone that was there was caring, capable, and put the resident and family first.
The administrative staff did lack in communication with the family. The community was willing to work with hospice. Overall, I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The community is only able to provide custodial care.
The community was able to do the best they could with the staff they had. They tried to hire more staff. I felt that my loved one was cared for well during my loved one's stay.

We are very happy with our experience at Provision Living. My mom is in the memory care section and the care and love that the staff members show her and the other residents there is phenomenal. It is a beautiful, clean, and loving environment for seniors and I would absolutely recommend them to others.

Good Community
This is a good place to live. There is a shortage of staff currently; however, this is everywhere.
The communication with the staff is good if I have questions. The food is okay most of the time for my friend.

The location of this place is fabulous
This community opened up during the pandemic and I really do think they are doing the best they can. Living in the villas we have house keeping, now they do a job good but they do not do extensive cleaning and we wish they would help unload dishes and do more then just vacuums, dust and clean the bathrooms. The staff members are wonderful and they really work hard providing a ton of activities for us, not only do they set up activities for independent living but we can also go over to the assisted living side. The dining room is well decorated, all the people who eat there are very friendly and always talk about how good the food is. We have had one meal so far, and it was delicious. We do love the location of our villas and we love the atmosphere.

Our Experience
My loved one was there for a very short stay because they simply were not able to provide the level of care that he needed or handle dementia-related behaviors. I think their heart was in the right place. They were just understaffed. And I'm not sure that the staff was well versed in how to take care of people with confusion and dementia. Memory care in that facility was a big overstatement.

Our families experience
The value for cost was very expensive what our loved ones received. Our father was on end of life, and even though they had staff there who were equipped with end of life care, to us they seemed unprepared. They were calling hospice all the time for help. Maybe it was a learning experience for them but we just felt they were unprepared to handle end of life care. They were wonderful people, but a small couple of things could of been worked out/improved.

Could use improvements
Our loved one was only there for a couple of days, but they seemed to like the meals and there were a lot of activities. However, we would not recommend this community to others. Our loved one fell twice during their stay, and I was out of state having to call the ambulance to take our loved one to the emergency room The community never called the ambulance, and we had to drive to the community late at night hours after the initial fall and take him to the emergency. We thought that was very weird, and we have noticed they are understaffed.

It is tough to judge a community these days, but Provisions is doing a great job.
The cleanliness of Provisions is a big plus, that really stood out to us. Also another thing that stood out to us was the friendliness of the people our loved one has have been able to meet and see everyday. The environment is very nice and welcoming. Home Away From Home
Provision Living is a new community, so people are moving in little by little, and they've had some growing pains as they handle the challenge of adjusting staffing levels as new residents move in. Nothing negative - that's just part of a new and growing community. But all in all, from what I can tell, they really care about the residents there. They really try their best to keep them included and active. They have a great therapy staff there that has done some really great work with my loved one personally. They go out of their way, are very caring, and are very good with all of the residents. When they first opened, the food was really good. They've had some changes in the cooks since then. Most of the time the food is still very good, but the biggest complaint is not having enough soft food that can be chewed more easily, which is very important for residents of a more advanced age. It seems like a really good community, and in terms of people with different levels of health and ability, they do their best to keep everybody included, which I think is really important. I typically email the staff with any questions or concerns, and I usually receive an email or phone call right back. Sometimes they pick up the phone and call me first, of their own accord. Another thing that's important to know, with all of the restrictions easing up, is they're opening up more and more. We're now seeing the music and activities again that really make the residents happy. I like that there's a real community feel there, were you can develop close relationships with others.
