The staff has been very caring and helpful while assisting him with his daily personal needs. And he has expressed to us that he is very pleased with everyone he interacts with. He has become more socially involved in the activities offered at the facility and has made friends with many of the residents. His room/apartment is plenty large enough for my Father in Law to navigate around in his wheelchair and the sinks, counters, and tables are low enough to be convenient for him. Overall, our family feels comfortable and welcome to visit at any time and we're always greeted by the friendly staff. Our residents live independently in spacious one-and two-bedroom apartments where they enjoy the peace and beauty of the countryside from their patios or decks. For those needing daily assistance, large private rooms are available in our Resident Care Facility II, licensed by the state of Missouri to offer personal assistance, medication monitoring and other care as needed. City life is only 12 minutes away in any direction. Residents an shop, buy groceries, fill a prescription, or enjoy and outing with friends in nearby Liberty Pleasant Valley, and North Kansas City.
