The devastating diagnosis of Alzhimiers of not just one parent but two slowly slipping was most difficult but was meet with compassion and strength from the staff. Mom and dad always felt so lucky to have “the most beautiful apartment in the whole place” as well as lasting friendships from residents, their families and staff. When our parents moved into the Traditions unit I felt an overwhelming relief and our parents blossomed!! Staff have continued to be a vital part of our family with our dad in the passing of our mother.
