Their care was genuine and the staff communicated frequently regarding her deteriorating condition. They recognized her failure to thrive & as a family we agreed to hospice. It was the best decision as her final days were peaceful and she was surrounded by loving caregivers. The MCE staff has been so kind to our family & we always felt welcomed. My father broke his hip & we chose MCE for his long term recovery. Recognizing my mom’s rapid decline, the staff encouraged my mom to “wait” for my dad to get there. Shortly after he arrived and they sat together , she passed away. I am grateful to MCE for their compassion and allowing my dad to recover and grieve in a supportive, familiar place.
