Mountain View Gardens review
When i moved in i was the 2nd youngest one there i was 77 and the others ranged from 85 to 103 when [name removed] heard me playing the grand piano he asked me if i would play every sat from 2 to 3 i put a lyrics book together with words to 275 songs the residents would gather after lunch and loved it i had a bad fall at Halloween. [name removed] was there within 30 seconds of me pulling the emergency cord i got hurt very bad 5 stitches in my head i was put to bed for 4 weeks the staff brought all my meals and too extra good care of me we had lots of activities the bus driver was awesome he always helped me with my walker and was wonderful every month i got my eye shot we had craft shows often and every body looked forward to buying my indian stuff.
when i got hurt so bad i loved being with the residents and tried to help them whenever i could i never wanted to leave but with all my medical problems and no help from step kids i moved out last august i still go to bible study every fri and i am there every Sunday to play my organ many have passed away but i get lots of hugs and love from the ones still there when i walk out the front door the tears start to fall i loved living there sooo much

Mountain View Gardens review

The Mountain View Gardens community is a nice safe place with very friendly and caring staff members. Based on the experience we have had so far, I would recommend this community to other families.

Trust in people who are trying to help you
The staff is fantastic. Housekeeping is okay. They come by every week to clean your apartment and give you new bedding. The food is great. If you leave the dining room still hungry, something is wrong. The food is always hot and plenty of it. We have a pool room, movie theater, library, Bible room, Pool, whirl pool. You really don't need to leave this place, everything is here.

When it comes to the care services the staff members respond quickly to issues of maintenance, other care is not provided as its independent living. The meals are usually above average, sometimes the meals take 1-2 hours to be served. More servers would be helpful. The value is a 5 when compared to similar facilities.

I've had a great experience at Mountain View Gardens. The staff are very involved with the residents. They are very helpful and responsive to needs. Everyone is friendly. They provide a great feeling of community. Overall, this is a community I would recommend to others for their loved ones.

The apartments are beautiful...they also have a full refrigerator and freezer.
The food is excellent.

Friendly and inviting
We attended their Carnival yesterday, which was our first visit. A beautifully maintained facility, both inside and out. [name removed] showed us a one bedroom apartment with spacious balcony, kitchenette with full-size fridge and storage. Lovely dining room and common areas, including billiard room and library.

Positive experience
We chose Mountain View Gardens because it was cleaner, nicer, has an open concept, and also had a lively feel to it. The 2 bedroom apartment is perfect size for her but would be great for 2 people as well. I think they could provide more variety of selection on the evening meals. Overall I would recommend to others looking.

Different than we expected. Less of an independent living feel.
They seem to be bringing in a lot more people who need more care, so it's feeling like less of an independent living facility. The apartment is adequate for our needs. There's only one elevator for about 120 apartments over three floors, which seems kind of strange. The staff have been very good, but there's been a lot of turnover in management. We've had 3-4 different managers in the few months we've been here so far. It seems like they offer a lot of activities if you choose to participate.

I enjoy it here and I like everything. The apt size is good and they offer different apt sizes. I would recommend this community to others. There is no smoking in the building and I had an issue with a neighbor smoking in his room, and nothing has been done about it.

We just thought Mountain View Gardens was a very nice facility, and everybody there was friendly. They were supportive and the place was very clean. They had a lot of activities to offer, and the food was very good. We absolutely would highly recommend this community.

Carefree and Safe Living
We moved our Mom into Mountain View Gardens a year and a half ago. She had lived in her home for 30 plus years and was overwhelmed and frightened the first day at Mountain View. [Names removed] help, care, concern and adept handling in her transition to her new life was miraculous. Within three days she was loving her new life. Now, she tells me she wants to live out her life at Mountain View Gardens and loves it there. The facilities are beautiful with full services but [name removed] and [name removed]go beyond that. They have helped us immediately resolve any questions we have. Good people in a great place

Finding ME!
Being all alone without close r relatives.I find I find I difficult to find close friends.Leaving a feeling of lonely and without friends to just chat,laugh and enjoy the time comfortably? and relaxed.Of course,I have my hobbies and my Cat so I keep busy. Because I have multiple sclerosis I found it necessary to quit living on my own. Mountain View Gardens is a month-to-month rental arrangement for individual apartments that allow for as much privacy as one would wish.
I have lived here a little over a year and have found the facility full of interesting people.
Since the pandemic started the management has taken steps to protect the residents and staff. I appreciate how well cared for I feel and can imagine how vulnerable I would be on my own had I not moved here.

Mountain View kudos
My mom has lived here for a year now..she loves it. We feel she is in a safe, comfortable environment where she can still have a degree of independence. Unfortunately, with the Covid virus still active, there are restrictions...understandably. The staff and managers have been wonderful during this crisis and we had a small pizza party for them as a thank you. Hopefully, we can go back to normalcy some time soon, but in the meantime, we know she is in good hands. Thank you for all you do.

A Wonderful Place
My mother-in-law has resided in Mountain View for over a year. We wrote a review about 6 months ago about how happy we were with how she was treated. Our appreciation continues through this challenging pandemic period. Procedures have been revised to ensure social distancing and the management has put in place a comprehensive testing program. Speaking of management, [name removed] and [name removed], the lead managers, continue to be spectacular. They are very considerate of their resident customers and get to know their needs. The staff is spectacular: every exchange with them is a positive one. We recommend Mountain View without reservations.

The Best Independent Living in Sierra Vista.
My 84 years young father has been living at Mountain View Gardens for several years now and loves it! The facility is clean and the staff treats everyone like family. There is tons of stuff to do ranging from religious services to casino trips, exercise groups to on site movies. Regularly scheduled meeting are held to exchange information and to allow residents to express any concerns or ideas. You are not going to find a more caring group of people and their communication with residents and family is A+.

Mom loved it!
I am giving Mountain View Gardens all 5 stars as the year that my mother lived there was great for her. She would have liked to have stayed longer, but her declining health caused her to move on to an assisted living facility.
