Morningview at Irving Park is definitely a five overall. In my opinion, all assisted-living facilities should follow their lead. Morningview at Irving Park has set the bar really high and my mother loves it there. And she is thriving.

Great facility but needs more staff
The facility is very short staffed which means things take much longer
Seems like they cannot hire a chef who has experience cooking for Large numbers. There have been very little variety and bland flavors

Morningview at Irving Park review
What our family likes the most about the community is that our loved ones room is steps away from the dining area and the court yard. The staff members seem competent and caring. and he just loves the staff and feels cared for.

Highly Recommend
The staff were very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and caring. They treated the patients with dignity ,respect and kindness. They were polite and patient with family members . I would use Morningview at Irving Park again for my mother's care.

Great place!
Everyone has been great! Staff is very
attentive to their patients. Food menus are specific to each individuals dietary needs and tasty too. The facility is extremely clean and very well maintained on a daily basis. Highly recommended if you have to place a loved one. We are very happy.

keep up the good work at improving this facility
Administrators and supervisors were great. Staff could have been more attentive. They were doing some great improvements with new furniture etc. but weren't the best at cleaning the residence rooms. My mom is not there anymore. There was little staff at night especially. My mom fell and ended up in hospital and now in another facility.

Mom's Happy Place
Mom is at Moringview at Irving Park and she is very happy there now compared to her last facility. They are all great! The staff is very caring and loving. The staff has also gotten to know my family. It feels more like a family.

Very disappointed
We actually had a bad experience. The administrators were good but the employees did not take proper care of my mother and she ended up back in the hospital.
The facility was clean so we figured it was a good choice. The problem was the caregivers. They did not give her the correct medicine doses and expected her to eat on her own after we asked them to help her. Therefore, she became very sick. They then lied to the management staff. They also took her personal wheelchair and I had to search the facility for it.

Morningview Stands Out
My loved one is currently a resident at Morningview at Irving Park and almost everything has been great for her at this facility so far. I rated the cleanliness a little lower. That's because the staff is a little slow with cleaning of the rooms. Otherwise, things are great. The friendliness, staff, care services are all great. The food and activities are great, also. I would recommend Morningview at Irving Park to others.

Disillusioned
There was no availability in the other places I called, others had a respite stay of 30 days or they were to expensive.I feel that these assistant living/memory care facilities is just a money game due to the experiences I have had with them in not taking accountability in their actions. They are happy to take your money saying they are only responsible for the residents but not responsible for any personal items missing.( clothing, shoes, blankets, eye glasses)

[name removed] gave us a great tour. There was communal dining and my loved one like this community. However, my loved one wasn't ready for assisted living and this was the drawback for us.

Nice facility
I would tell others looking into Morningview at Irving Park that the facility is very clean. I would have given it a 5 plus if I could. All the staff that I have met are very friendly and are eager to help in any way. You can talk to them about anything.
I would definitely recommend Morningview to others looking.

A great assisted living community striving to be a safe active home for your loved one
The activity director is amazing, but the med techs could be a little bit more friendly and I do with there was a bit more communication with the directors as to how our loved one is fitting in to the community. Maybe a monthly updated would be nice. I'm sure there are more communities out there but for the money this is a very reasonable choice for families on a budget. Based on the experience we have had so far with Morningview at Irving Park we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

Warm, safe environment for loved ones
We knew this was going to be the place for our loved one right when you walked in - you could see straight through all the way to the outdoor patio and the staff members have just been so friendly. The residents that also live there have been super nice. Overall it has been a really good experience and we would recommend this community to other families.

Short Staffed
They are short staffed, they could not give my mom the attention that she needed medically.
I was not aware they didn't have staff on site to do that even with small wounds that needed dressed.
I do have hospice come in to assist with her care as was not aware was an option but now am and it is true blessing.
For the most part the listen to what I have to say, which is nice.
