About the facility Moraga Retreat Care on Woodford
Moraga Retreat Care on Donald is where we strive to provide an alternative setting for aging senior citizens. Going into an institutional setting can be very hard for families and the elderly. We offer a great alternative to a traditional nursing home. We are a family owned home, and this allows us to provide excellent care to our residents. We conduct a thorough assessment on all of our new residents when they first come to live in our residence. After this assessment we will be able to determine how much care is needed. We encourage all of our residents to be as independent as possible with safety as our number one priority. This assessment allows us to monitor cognition and physical ability to see if there are any changes in the future. This will allow us to design a new plan of care to ensure that our residents have all of their needs met each day. Our meals are savory and enjoyed by our residents. Three meals a day are provided with our care, and snacks are available in between meals also. We can administer all medications, and this is an area where many seniors may need some help. Senior...
