My experience with Mill Creek Manor has been largely positive. From the moment we first visited, the warmth and professionalism of the one particular staff was evident. The facility is clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed to provide a comfortable living environment for its residents.

I would say DO NOT send your parents here! Dad moved out after they stopped cleaning his apartment, discontinued trash pickup, and stopped serving meals to the independent living, while raising the rent.

Hoped for better. Not bad but has issues.
They are in a period of transition due to management changes that occurred right after my parent moved in. They let people go soon after that so many people are new. I don’t know if that is the issue but I am optimistic that this is why the service is less than expected. The food is not great. The weekly menu is loosely followed. The communication is not great. I have followed up to emails I sent and still have not received responses. I go regularly, so I know that my mom is well taken care of, but it makes me question what I am paying for. The caregivers are all friendly and helpful.

Bait and Switch
I am a victim of a Bait and switch treatment at this place. When I toured, I was given brochures saying we would have meals, housekeeping and activities. On [date removed] a memo was sent out to the current resident saying there was no housekeeping and meals would be one per day. That was never sent to me and when I moved in on [date removed], I signed a contract with the understanding there would be two meals a day and housekeeping. That has proven to be a lie. Do not come here. I will be moving out at the end of April. Please beware.

Under staffed all the time. Food is terrible. Management doesn’t care about the staff or residents. Don’t put your loved one there. I toured the place about 2 months ago and I have a friend whose mother is there. I was there a couple weeks ago and couldn’t find anyone to help my friend’s mom. She was wet and smelled strongly of urine. Her room smelled like a toilet and her carpet was very dirty. They also never answer the phone. My friend and I went to his mom the other day and again she was soiled. When we tried to speak to the ED , she was very rude. She acted like it was our fault. Please don’t put anyone you care about in that facility.

Detrimental current living conditions - Water Damage and Pest Infestation
Management has to seriously do something about condition of Mill Creek Senior Living. Area is dirty and smells like urine. Independent living units are infested with roaches and spiders, mold and water damage and administration say nothing can be done. Hired a professional cleaner and pest control service, since administration didn't do services as promised, revealing a severe infestation of over 1000 roaches throughout the house, including eggs in electrical outlets, behind mirrors, and other areas. Items that were advised not to be opened at move-in were infested, leading to the disposal of personal belongings and pantry items. This unacceptable situation has persisted for over a year without resolution, despite numerous assurances and promises. We have also faced a breach of the agreement not to increase rent due to these conditions, as new fees have been added without addressing the residents' needs.

My loved one is currently a resident at Mill Creek Manor and the experience has been okay so far. Some of the staff are great, but there are 2 in particular that are just plain rude. As for the meals, the actual food is good. However, they've served my loved one a specific food multiple times even though she is allergic to it. I think Mill Creek Manor is a good facility, but I would recommend it only for those with a tighter budget and/or lower care needs.

If a friend asked about my experience with Mill Creek Manor (Independent Living), I would say that the grounds are great and the apartment is comfortable. My dad enjoys his neighbors. But he is unhappy there because he doesn't like the food or the folks who prepare it, and refuses to eat there. He is currently looking into alternatives.

I was completely satisfied with the mill creek experience. They helped in every phase of the relocation.
The only issue I noticed for improvement was not monitoring the main entrance all the time. As a result we had issues of my family member trying to leave the facility for walks.
I would recommend them to anyone.

Extremely high turnover in staffing - even beyond COVID standards. I think it's really a combination of things. Its a byproduct of the economy/Covid and their business model to keep the rates reasonable. It's probably the best they can do without significantly raising their monthly fees.

Be careful of what nursing home you choose
They did not feed my loved one, and they were not always well groomed/clean. They did not have enough staff. The residents did not get the care that they should have received. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

So pleased with our choice
The staff at Mill Creek Manor have just been wonderful to work with, our loved ones care has been so great since moving here. Her daily medication are given on time and physically she is so much better. Since she has been on a regular scheduling of three meals a day she is now in this new routine that is amazing. They have a hair salon on sight where we can reach out to them and schedule appointments for her, it is so easy. The activities are appropriate. We were able to secure a private room for our loved one and the value for the money is very reasonable.

We had a wonderful experience with Mill Creek Manor. We were very impressed initially with the staff and the facility overall. Everyone was super friendly. They seemed to have a lot of great activities provided but we did not participate in any. I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

Property Tour
The tour was good overall. The only thing I didn’t like was there was no place outside of a resident's room for family to sit except for at the dining room table. It would have been nice if they had another living space for family to sit and visit. Also the staff wasn’t as friendly as they could have been. It seemed a little wired, with everybody all over the place.
