My son is happy and doing well at Medallion Manor
My son has lived at Medallion Manor in Provo for nearly 20 years. Prior to that time, he lived in state-managed homes outside Utah. While the care at those homes was adequate, my son never seemed to be happy to be there, and always wanted to "move to another place." Since I moved him to Medallion Manor, he has become quite happy, for the most part, to live there. There are many services and activities to hold his interest. The staff is amazing. They know each individual and what they like and don't like, what their abilities are, and how to challenge each of them to do better. At the annual meetings to discuss the status, I learn just what is being done. If there are ever any changes, I immediately receive a phone call to advise me or ask questions. I can call any time to speak to staff, or to my son on the phone, and the family members can visit or take him on an outing at any time. I cannot speak highly enough of the care my son receives at Medallion Manor.
