Mayflower Manor Apartments offers a unique chance to live in a senior apartment home in a historic hotel in the heart of downtown Akron, Ohio. It’s in the center of it all: The Canal Park Stadium, Akron Art Museum, the University of Akron, the Akron Zoo, and the Civic Theater are all within walking distance from the stately entryway of Mayflower Manor. Most apartments have that coveted million-dollar view of downtown, complete with firework displays from the stadiums and the excitement of the hustle and bustle of city life. Because Akron is a mid-size city, the outdoors are never far away. Cascade Valley Metro Park provides a peaceful respite. Visitors can fish along the river, see the sunrise turn the morning fog golden, and amble along the wooded hiking trails.
The facilities at Mayflower are unique. Housed in a historic art deco hotel, the Mayflower Manor gives seniors a taste of the suite life. And while the exterior retains its historic charm, the interior is newly renovated, including all of the apartments and their amenities. Seniors can choose from studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom floor plans. Everything is wheelchair accessible, and service animals are welcome.
