I have never met a more giving and caring group of people. Every employee introduced themselves during mom’s stay. People came to me whenever I arrived to update me. I am especially grateful to Kim, who was the only one in the hundreds of doctors, nurses and caregivers through hospital and rehab stays, to notice my mother was dying. I was stunned when she suggested hospice but I trusted and relied on everyone there. Even the hospice nurses didn’t see what was happening. When she passed I was so grateful to this group of caring people. It was a lot of work for three weeks but they did it gladly and professionally. If you are anywhere in the Tidewater area please visit Mayfair House.
