It Was a Good Experience and They Were Accommodating
It is a quality place and a large place. My only concern was that my friend would not find their way back to their large, beautiful room. It is far prettier than I thought it would be. It is in a grove of trees. The dining room was beautiful.
The staff communication was good about our loved one.

The community is very caring. Everyone there from the top to the bottom is very friendly and really does care about the residence. They have done a great job handling covid and keeping the residence safe. my loved one loves the staff I would highly recommend this community to others.

Mary Queen of Angels has been a real blessing
Mary Queen of Angels has been a real blessing to our family. My parents moved here in April and immediately felt welcomed. Unfortunately, we lost my mother over the summer, but staff rallied around my dad with love and support. During this difficult time he has needed additional care and they have provided this for him. I have been impressive with how accommodating they have been. The office staff and caregivers have been very responsive to us. I don't worry about his care, or have concerns when I am not able to be there. Most of all, my dad really likes his apartment and is very happy to be living there.

What a nightmare...
Beware!! If your loved one has important medication needs, he/she needs help with daily activities, and if you want your mother or father to be treated with kindness and respect, this is NOT the place for you. The communication between staff and families and internally between management and staff is virtually nonexistent. There are several employees who should not be working in this profession because of their lack of empathy and compassion. My mother was verbally bullied by two long-time employees, which I directly witnessed by conversations I overheard, including one who called my mother "mean" and told her that she was "putting on" when she requested help walking back from the dining room. There are a few competent and friendly staff, but they could not make up for the actions of the others who made my mother miserable. When incidents are reported to management, they do not hold employees accountable. Pharmacy errors impacting the entire building were not communicated to residents or their families. Medication was stolen out of my mother's locked cabinet, with no follow-up from management. Resident and staff turnover is high, there is an obvious lack of training, and they are understaffed. The difference in staff attitudes between Mary Queen and the facility where my mother has now moved could not be more pronounced. I hope others will not make the same mistake that we did.

Nice Tour!!
I thought this facility was really nice and had a lot of great amenities they had to offer all of there residents. They had a nice open floor plan with a great dinning room as well as dinning room. The staff was very professional and gave my mom and I lots of detailed information of there community. It was just out of our price range that we had budgeted for.

Short lived!
From the moment we walked in to this community I knew that it would be a good fit for my loved one. She has gotten to know the residents and make friends. The staff has done an excellent job with her and making her feel comfortable. Everything has always been nice and tidy.

They were really nice and we have been pretty satisfied with what they've done.
They were really nice and we have been pretty satisfied with what they've done. They said that if she runs out of money that they would work with the VA and be able to work things out with the family. I have no complaints with them. It's very clean, and it's an Alzheimers and it's secured and you have to have a code to get in to the memory care area, and they have a secured courtyard, so they can get out so they don't feel so confined. They will take them to church if you want them to.

Mary Queen of Angels is the best!
Everyone my Mother and all of our family have interacted with have been wonderful. There is such and sense of caring and concern among the staff. The residents have also been very welcoming, kind and helpful to my Mom. I do not believe we could have found a better place for my Mother.
