Keep looking for a place
The description of Addison is not true They have a van, but do not take the residence out. They say they have a chef. He’s not a chef. He’s a cook. The food is terrible. Good occasionally. Many times, my mom went to bed hungry, or would eat pb & j in her room. They kept saying it would get better. After 8 months, it didn’t. The management got an attitude when we would mention the food. We went with the Addison, and paid the extra money because of the things they advertise. .
You do not get what you pay for.

My Mother Loves It Here.
My mother is a resident here and loves it! The facility is very bright, cheerful and welcoming. She has made lots of friends her own age and enjoys all of the activities. The staff is very caring and dedicated to all of the residents. The food is flavorful, and the deserts are the best!

My stepmom was previously a resident at Marquis Gardens Place and everything was great for her at this facility. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The staff, care services, meals and value for cost were also great. They went above and beyond while my stepmom was a resident there. I would highly recommend Marquis Gardens Place to family and friends.

Comfortable living and friendly staff
While no place is perfect, it's been a good choice for her.My loved one wanted to stay in Uniontown near family and have her own space. Marquis provides those things and has a comfortable quiet environment. The activities the facility provides is a nice bonus. We also like the system they have where cost is based on level of care the resident needs.

Small, warm and friendly community
When it comes to quality of care it is the small things like his finger nails aren't cut (very long) and they are not good about brushing his teeth. However the great Activities director-makes sure to tailor Activities to each residents interests. He needs a lot of care, so very expensive, but much nicer than skilled nursing and less expensive. Overall pretty happy with Marquis Gardens and would recommend

highly recommend Marquis Gardens for Your Loved One
We love the community, the layout, and it's not too big. We love the nurses aides, they are kind and positive. My loved one raves about the food. The staff assign seats in the dining room for the residents. This allows residents time to socialize during meals.
There seems to be less directed activities by the community, and more by the residents. They are also looking for a new Executive Director.

Do your research before making your final decision
I would tell others to make sure that you get everything in writing and really understand everything, do not go based off of the word of the administrators because they have short term memory. We did not have a good experience.

Would not recommend
We chose Marquis Gardens Place because the availability at the time. I would want others to know that the administration of the facility was very hard to work with. My mom went in at a certain reasonable price and the amount of money that they were charging to do things that we had no control of was unreal. It ended up going up hundreds of dollars a day and before we pulled her out we were paying a ton more than what we came into it paying. It also seemed like they were understaffed and the staff were not trained properly in person. Overall, it was not a good experience for our family.

I could not have asked for anything better
I could not have asked for anything better than what we got at Marquis Gardens Place. The care she got during her short stay here was absolutely incredible. We chose this facility because it was recommended to us and had high reviews. I was also very impressed with the tour. I would recommend this facility.

Staff is very professional
I would rate the food a four, some of the food is high in salt. Room sizes are pretty good size. My mom said they do have daily activities while they practice social distancing. The quality of the facility really stood out to us, as well as the professionalism of the staff, i would recommend this to a family or friend.

Confidence that my mom is well cared for
The community is always very clean. It's always pleasant! The staff has been great through the Covid-19 pandemic, doing everything they can to keep the residents happy and content. They have also done a great job with keeping the families are informed about what they are doing.
The nursing staff is always on top of things. My mom does not require a lot of care, but they seem to take the individual's needs and preferences and make them a priority. My sisters and I feel very confident about the care my mom is getting.
The food is pretty good for the most part, my mom has never complained. Occasionally the meat is a bit tough, although she only complained about that twice. There is also a good selection to choose from, which is great.
The activities are great and my mother enjoys them. At first, they seemed pretty inconsistent especially in terms of the participation of other residents. Since then, they have really done a good job with organizing things better and that whole situation has stabilized a lot.
Definitely a good value for the price.

We would highly recommend Marquis Gardens Place to anyone that is looking for personal care for their family members. The community is clean, the staff is caring and friendly and they keep us informed of any changes with care or health concerns. We are comfortable knowing that our loved one it taken care of and this has given us the ability to go out of town and enjoy out time away. We have made many friends in the community, residents, families and staff when we come to volunteer for Sunday services.

Marquis Gardens Place has become home to our mother.
From the beginning of the process looking for the right fit for our mother, not knowing what to expect and knowing that this was not just our decision but our mother's decision as well, the staff was very informative and tried to make this process as easy as possible on everyone involved. Once mom moved into the community, the staff goes out of their way to take care of moms needs, answer any questions that we have about her care. Mom enjoys meals and activities daily with the other residents that she now calls friends.

Comfortable care!!
My loved one has recently made the move into this community and so far I have had no complaints of how things are going. I am comfortable with the care she is receiving and would recommend them to anyone. The facility was exactly as it is described. The staff were very friendly and were able to answer all questions. The facility was well organized and very clean. Everything is located on one level making it easy for residents to move throughout the facility. The activities and menus were clearly posted for all to see. There were several nice areas for small group activities and a large community area. The enclosed court yard looked very nice. I felt very comfortable interacting with the staff and observing them interacting with the residents. I left with a positive opinion about the facility. We are just beginning our search for family members and I will keep this facility on my list of a possible community.
