Our family's experience for our loved one
The Lumina staff are very welcoming and take time to get to know the families as well as the residents. We also liked the setup of Lumina and how safe it felt for our loved one, especially with the monitoring in every room and in the facility. They also had a lot of activities that kept residents and their families engaged within Lumina and the community.

Beautiful facility with friendly and knowledgeable staff
Lumina Las Vegas has been an excellent choice for my dad's needs. He has dementia and the staff and programs at Lumina have been a welcoming experience. Super friendly staff provide superior care and assistance as needed. The food is high quality and the presentations are much like a quality restaurant. [name removed] and [name removed] make the onboarding a breeze and every care giver and medical tech have been extremely friendly and helpful. While my dad was originally resistant to change, he has settled in very quickly and loves everyone involved in his care.

Yoga, Therapy Dog, and Love
My partner and I started visiting Lumina to teach a yoga class with my therapy dog, as a way to give back to a population that is near and dear to our hearts. Wonderful Place, I highly recommend
This is the most vibrant memory care facility I have been in. All the staff are on point, super friendly, and welcoming. The activity schedule is full of fun things to do. Both my mom and my father have lived in Care homes, and the activities at both their homes don't compare to the ones they have at Lumina. I highly recommend this place because they want your loved one to be engaged and enjoy life in their final stages.

Wonderful meeting expectations

We liked the feel of the facility (calming atmosphere), the programs, how the facility had two sections which were based on the patients needs which allowed my parents to stay together even though my mom was further along with dementia.

Beware looks can be deceiving!!
Please beware of brining your love one to Lumina yes they will show you a beautiful facility with what they call state of the art technology. It is all a lie the tempo system they use is useless it will alert the care staff that a resident is in the bathroom for too long and in all actuality the resident is sitting in the dinning room or in there room watching tv. Also the care staff is over worked and under staffed for example there could be one medication technician and two caregivers for about 26 residents depending on what side you are on they will tell you staff one side 6 to 1 but to my calculations that is 8 to 1. So 3 staff member one being the medication technician who has to pass meds is responsible for getting residents up for meals taking orders serving them cleaning up after them. Ask yourself this can 3 people handle all of that without something going wrong? There are other facilities I would say more but can’t this review is only allowed 1000 characters. Just do research

Great people, great place
It was my x-husband that was there. He passed in November so it was a short time he was there. It was a beautiful facility and my daughter had a great relationship with everyone there. She went almost every day. I would recommend your facility to anyone that would ask. Great people, great place and very clean.

Caring and Engaged- feels like home

My father is safe and well cared for which gives me peace of mind
We recently moved my ninety-one year old father into Lumina Las Vegas and have been very happy with his care there. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. My father is having some trouble adjusting to not being in his own home and they have been amazingly patient with him.
As with any move anywhere, they and he are still getting to know each other, but I can't emphasize enough how sweet everyone is and how professional they are. My siblings and I are also ecstatic to have found a place that has a barber on site and someone to help him with his podiatry needs.
