new information, even during a brief conversation. Her only daughter is her primary caretaker and she is getting overwhelmed at times with the constant phone calls and care needs.\n\nWe selected Long Leaf because it was a beautiful location, very well managed, close to her primary care giver and very accommodating to our many requests. We withdrew because we had difficulty letting go enough to let Long Leaf adapt her (and us) to their routine in caring for the several other elderly Memory care patients at their facility. It's a fine line to walk for families between letting go enough without entirely abandoning their loved one to institutional care. People in Memory care need an advocate to help the institution provide the care our loved ones need. We found Long Leaf very willing to work with us within the limits of their caregiving. We simply couldn't let go enough.\n\nReasons we chose Longleaf initially are listed below:\n- the place is very clean, spacious and we'll appointed.\n- the corridors are wide and have hand rails throughout. \n- the staff is kind and very considerate.
