At this home, the owner prefers to take care of all of the random fees and costs involved in putting your loved one into an adult family home, and then that goes into your payment. Other places wanted us to take care of those fees and costs with individual agencies.\nMy mother has now been there about 3 months, we have found the caregivers to be very caring and savvy about people with dementia. They keep a good schedule of meal times and activities, which is important for people with dementia. They have pet and music therapy. Families are asked to let them know when we will be coming by in order to keep that schedule and not interrupt anything, but they are always very welcoming. Also, my mother's health has improved under their care. She regained her appetite and looks more vibrant and healthy. \nWe are more than happy with our experience thus far at Langland House.
