About the facility Lakewood Palace
Lakewood Palace is a unique assisted living environment which is in a direct professional relationship with the University of California San Francisco. The doctors, nurses, care providers and administrators guarantee that all residents will experience care well beyond the basic requirements of standard facilities. The most advanced methods of caring for the mental and physical needs of seniors are put to work around the clock. This home is labeled as a palace because each resident is treated as an honored member of a family. The grounds are also exclusive with a low occupancy and access to easy transportation, recreation and in-room services uncommon in this size of community. Everything from special meal preparation and delivery, to hobby and craft development, prescription administration and social opportunities are all part of Lakewood Palace. The staff believes that senior and elder care is a positive contribution to the surrounding urban area, not the other way around. Not thrilled by Lakewood Palace...
My loved one's experience at this facility could have been much better. My loved one experienced bed sores. The facility seemed unorganized in the way it was run. My loved one also was not thrilled with the food that they received, since it was not something that they were used to.
