Senior living without the luxuries.
Residents are getting agitated because we have no room service. Everyone is responsible for cleaning their own apartment. The pool is still empty! The trash room is almost always overflowing. The staff is very friendly and caring but they can only do so much. They really need a new book keeper at corporate. My rent statement is different each month. I really like it here. I feel safe. I just wish they would get a full staff so we could get some help with our apartments.

When my loved one first moved in to Lincoln Towers about three years ago, maybe a little less, everything was working out fine. But then all of a sudden little things started happening like the maintenance was very slow to fix any repairs on the apartment - the food got worse etc.. Then it got worst when the new management came in and cut off all of the cable channels that carried any kind a Christian viewing but you could get any kind of risky and adult viewing that you wanted. The final straw was they raised the rent. It went up $[removed] per month which we could not afford. That was the very reason that she was there in the first place so I think that Lincoln Towers management lacks good business sense. They truly do not represent what is best for their residents. I would not recommend them to anyone.

not as promised
no transportation, no linen service, weekly cleaning was once in 3 weeks and seems to have been air freshener sprayed, no maintenance, food barely edible and insufficient quantity. They are very friendly and are trying hard to hire for vacancies which explains the defencies I have found. Staff and residents are friendly and helpful but not satisfied here. Going to stick out my 3 months and hope vacancies are filled.

It's a very good fit for the price. My only suggestion for improvement would be to get an activities director. As of right now they don't see to have anything going on. I'd like to see some activities going on. The servers do a good job but the food could be improved as well.

Lincoln Tower review
Our sister loves the Lincoln Tower with a couple of minor issues that she is working out but it comes with not being in the comfort of your own home. The staff has came through with everything they have promised which is a big deal for us. The staff are not pushy, they are always willing to work with us and are super friendly. She does not take advantage of the activities right now but she says they always have a bunch of things going on. There is not much on the menu when it comes to a tasty softer meals to it.

Our experience with Lincoln Tower
We chose this facility because they had availability quickly and she had a friend who had lived here before so we thought it would be a good fit. I have only been in her apartment but it if sufficient for what she needs. I think they have done very well in trying to make things right for my friend. I had the food here one day and I thought it was very good. I think she does need more assistance than what they are able to give.

Nice facility - value for the buck is excellent
Value for the cost is really good. I've searched around, and everything else is really expensive. It looks like they're getting ready to gear up for more activities. The staff is very accommodating, and they'll do anything they're able to do. Their vans haven't been operating for a while because they don't have driver. They're not cleaning the rooms as well as I would want them cleaned. It's hard to know if that's Covid-related or not. I know they've had trouble with staff shortages. I think the facility is nice, and they have brand new washers and dryers in the community laundry rooms. I see lots of people there playing games- cards and dominoes and things.

You can put your mom here and feel good about it
We chose Lincoln Tower because they offered everything that she needed. She is fed, her room is cleaned, they have an in house beauty salon, arts and crafts, etc. They also have a bus that takes them to and from the store and doctors appointments. It reduces the stress on me because they provide everything she needs. My one complaint would be they need to focus on the diets for the elderly residents, they do have a lot of fried foods and I think they need to be more nutritious. I would recommend the facility.

Yall need to be turned in to the state for how you treat the residents and employees at Lincoln Towers. This place is disgraceful. These people pay for services that you are not providing. Plus you increase their rent every year. I'm looking for another facility for my mother. This used to be a nice place but it's not anymore. Food and housekeeping services are awful. New management are rude to residents employees as well as visitors. None of these people deserve a lockdown and this is not a prison. You receive their money and dont do what your contract says you will do.

This place is awful! My mother lives there and she has been in lockdown for covid since February of this year. She has been tested for covid 3 times and is negative. She is not receiving adequate service for what she is paying. The governer has not ordered another shutdown for covid. Yall are violating the residents rights. I saw her on christmas eve and no staff were there after 4pm. Her evening meal was left outside her door at 4pm. She has not had any housekeeping service since December 1st. I went to see her again on 12/26. The new manager was very rude and was also rude to the door greeter. Trash sacks were on the outside of my mothers apartment door as no one comes to empty her trash. Her meal on christmas eve was a chicken wrap like you could buy from walmart. I reviewed her menu and it's literally pathetic. All residents living there feel profound fear of covid due to management. They are paying rent and you people are treating them like prisoners.

Unhappy tenant
Since May of 2019 things have really changed for worst. Mice came into room and pooped on clothes and furniture due to poor wall repairs. Food is served cold and dried out. Entertainment and activities have diminished to almost nothing. Leadership has changed several times so anything they promise you goes out the door with them. When asking management she says stuff like “I don’t need your opinion because I have mine and that what counts.” The artificial plants in open areas are all dusty and not cleaned often. Control of COVID situation sporadic, depending on who’s there. [removed] Swimming pool is sporadically open. Obtained renters insurance on my own and was still charged for on rent and management claims they would correct but didn’t.

Just my opinion.
I came to live in Lincoln Tower retirement 2 years ago in April of this year. Many changes have occurred that have been very devastating The past year we have lost all the team members except one . [name removed] has worked many hours to hold the facility together with no help from Corporate. The building is in dire need of repair, the food is substandard and housekeeping is certainly not as promised in our contract. We need someone that cares for the residents (and the one faithful employee ) to come to the facility and address the concerns of the residents . We are not being given the services your contract promises. I realize that Covid19 has caused some of the problems, but the problems were present before Covid19 hit us. We have lost several residents and more are considering moving. Many residents have advanced to needing assisted living and the ones who are active feel that we are living in a nursing home instead of retirement living. I choose to live here and would love to stay, but some changes are going to have to be made. We must have to have responsible management that will enforce the rules and regulations. It is not safe or healthy at this time.

A Place for Mom has scored Holiday Lincoln Tower 7.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score.
