Excellent experience
We have had an excellent experience here at Solista since we moved here two months ago. The facility is a quiet place. Our apartment is lovely. The staff is helpful and friendly as are most of the residents. The meals are delicious. We really enjoy living here.

Better service elsewhere
Ever since my parents moved in, the level of services and quality of services have diminished. Costs remain the same though. I have tried multiple times to speak with a manager and they are "not available" and haven't returned my calls. I have even emailed corporate with no reply. As soon as we find another option that works, they are moving.

Before you decide on a new home for your loved one....
People should look into staff ratios. Ask themselves does the facility smell good are the carpets clean and in good repair? Ask for a months worth of menus to see if the food provided suits the needs of the client.

Holiday Cascadian Place review
I have been here since mid November and I am very pleased with my apartment. People here are very nice. I've met some nice people. Management is helpful and try hard to accommodate our needs. Meals are good if not always fancy. It's quite comfortable. It's not the fanciest place in town although everything is clean and functional. It also is not the most expensive. The newer places were all out of my price range and I guess there may be those who would prefer newer or fancier things but I personally find everything really comfortable. They do meals, clean for us weekly and provide transportation to appointments, shopping and other events. There's programs throughout the week to entertain us, provide things to do, a nice library and workout room. It provides me with ability to live in a safe environment in my own place. There is an emergency contact program to call for help if needed. My son was comfortable with me living alone here. I'm quite happy. As I stated the place is immaculately clean and maintained, but if your expectation is shiny and new it may not be your style. However as noted it is also not most expensive although I've seen more expensive that weren't as functional to me.

Overall nice place to live. Friendly, helpful residents and staff.
Administrative staff friendly and helpful. Maintenance a bit demanding: have to get work order to change lightbulbs, e.g. staff though friendly and helpful, not always easy to find when needed. Kitchen staff very good, as is housekeeping.
There are studios, 1- and 2-bedroom sizes. Each have varying square footage. My 1-bedroom is very average-sized @ 515 sq feet. There is one called a studio (because no door separating living area from bedroom) that has about 600 sq feet, and us higher rent than my 1-bedroom. My space has a small alcove off to the side, not counted into sq footage because of sloping ceiling. But great storage. Could easily accommodate a twin-sized air mattress for overnight guests. So good variety of space.
I would point out a fault in design. 5th floor and 6th floor have no public access toilets, though several community spaces exist on this floors, like multipurpose room, fitness center, library, etc.

Nice place to live if you don't mind the noisy neighborhood.
Friendly residents and very nice staff. I picked this community, because it was just within my budget and the lease process was quick and easy. And it was immediately available. When there is enough staff they provide light cleaning services.

We are dealing with Covid-19 by creative scavenger hunts around the hallways, hallway games, and hot meals delivered to our door. The staff here keep us safe and the areas clean. I miss live music Wednesday but our activities person plays hallway music on different halls daily. Our food is made by executive chefs and is healthy.

Excellent and Great Place to Be
It is a very friendly community. I would recommend the community to anyone for their loved ones. They need to improve on the food preparation and hire a chef. Some of the activities are bingo, movie time, games, yoga, exercise classes, walking club and more for the residents to choose from.

a nice place and a great value
It the best place you could have your parent at during covid. They could come and go as needed, everyone followed the covid protocols. The communication was very between the staff and our family. They kept us well informed. I would recommend this community to others

The Cascadian staff is always very courteous, gracious and helpful whenever I contact them with a question or request concerning my brother, who is a resident. When I’ve occasionally joined him for lunch, the kitchen staff is always friendly and responsive. I hope my brother can continue to afford to live at Cascadian as long as he wants.
