Best Assisted Living in town!
My 97 year old mom came to Heritage Creek Assisted Living with a fractured collarbone and broken hip. She also had multiple wounds on her body. She was wheelchair bound and in bad shape. After months of nurturing care, wound care, RN, LVN, CNA’s and Psych-services. All in conjunction with PT and OT. She walked out of Heritage in excellent shape. Thank you HC for giving me my mom back!

Best Assisted Living in San Antonio
Heritage Creek is a place where people that work there actually care about their residents. The Administrator is always going above and beyond to accommodate the residents and their needs. She runs her community’s with love and compassion and her staff follows suit. My mom bounced around to three different Assisted Living’s in town. She came to Heritage Creek very sick and over medicated. Heritage Creek went above and beyond in her care. Since she has been there she has gotten back to baseline and I couldn’t be happier about the care that she is receiving.

Don’t expect to choose your meal preference
This facility advertises chef prepared meals yet once your a captive resident they don’t honor meal choices that’s if your lucky enough to even see a menu to choose from. Everybody gets the same thing whether you like it or not. They also don’t always provide off menu items when you try to choose something. False advertising !! They have a huge staff turnover constantly needing help to hire. There’s clearly a very good reason they can’t keep hired help ! They incorrectly submit wrong move out dates to the Long Term Care Insurance Companies therefore poor administrative performance. Potential residents beware.

Review for Heritage Creek Assisted Living
It was a beautiful facility; however, the activities were minimal, and there were no bus outings offered at all. Their response as to why was that they, of course, stopped during Covid, and they chose to never start them up again. Heritage is a family owned and operated facility. From that, we understood they have that right to make those decisions. However, we felt that would keep Mom more confined, especially if we were not able to take her ourselves at times. No other independence, in other words. It was not a good fit!

Love Heritage Creek!
Very lovely facility! I've always had a great experience visiting my grandma here. The owner and staff have always been very kind and are quick to help when something is needed. Very clean and spacious and overall a great atmosphere!

Extremely impressive was very large but I liked the way the residents were included in the daily calisthenics. The efficiency rooms were really nice and was pleased by the staff. This is definitely a contender as well.

Hidden Gem
Clean, clean, clean! Less than 50 residents allows for a family-feel. Caring, attentive staff and the Owners are actively involved on site. We were beyond fortunate and blessed to find such a home away from home. My Mom is very happy, and thriving here. Base rate is 3K, but assistance is extra based on needs.

Clean and great staff
If you are looking for a great place for your mom or dad. Come take a look. The staff is friendly, they welcome you with a smile. The food is good, they give you options. They have entertainment come in every months. The residents love arts and crafts. And Bingo. My mom loved it here.

The Staff was really helpful with our mom's needs. They were caring, and always went above and beyond what was asked. The owners were always there to help out as well. There is exercise daily for residents and all kinds of crafts. the residents love going on outings.

Look closely to match your needs
Dissatisfied with the attention from the owners. Did not receive any resolution to our concerns regarding several issues. Activities are limited. Most residents are wheel chair bound. If your loved one is more ambulatory, consider looking elsewhere since not much is provided for those more mobile. Very nicely decorated common areas, but small rooms. Turn over seems common among staff.

my 6 months of living at Heritage Creek
this place feels more like home every day. The staff is very caring and professional. Quick to answer call lights and always ask if there's anything else they can do for me. The food is excellent. Good variety and well prepared. Housekeeping is amazing! Floors mopped daily, always have a shine. Crumbs in the dining area are cleaned up immediately and dishes promptly removed. Lots of activities including bingo, arts and crafts, trips to Walmart and area eating places. At least once a month musicians come and have 1-2 hour sing a long. This place, by far, is the next best place to being in my house. The longer I'm here the better I like it.

Love Heritage Creek!
Our mom has been living at Heritage Creek for several months now and we believe it is the absolute best place for our mom. Most of the rooms are comparatively small, but the other features of Heritage Creek more than make up for anything. We put Mom on a waiting list for a larger room, so when one became available, we moved her last month. She is even happier now with more space. The people at Heritage Creek are very patient and caring.

Heritage Creek Assisted Living has been a wonderful place for our loved ones. It is a beautiful community that is very clean and well-kept. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. appearances are deceiving
disappointed. we thought it would be a great place for our mother. she really didn't get the help she needed. broke her hip while there and we don't know for how long she was there on the floor, now they want the full month when she wasn't there but 4 days. beautiful building but don't be deceived....it's a fancy hotel. that's all.

A Positive Community
This a very positive community. I could not say enough good things about it. Everything has worked out very well for my mother here at this community. My mother is doing very well here, she is being cared for well. Everyone here is great. The staff and the nurses are great. It has been a wonderful experience for us here.

Meal issues.
My dad has been at Heritage Creek about a month. The facility is very clean and staff friendly. Sometimes Dad has to ask several times for clean bath towels. Food is not good. I ate with Dad last week and pork chops had bones in them, were over seasoned. Elderly residents that have trouble cutting food so should serve boneless pork chops. Vegetable was either carrots or sweet potatoes, I couldn't tell, which were not cooked and had no flavor. I sat at the table with Dad and three others and all complained about how bad the food is without me asking them. Service was awful. Residents were served at different tables and food was not very hot when arrived. They would take plates to tables at random instead of serving a table at a time. Food has a lot of room for improvement,

This facility is one-year-old in this absolutely gorgeous it was the first on my list and unfortunately all the others were compared to it. In fact after dinner that night or you can took my wife over to take a quick look we ran into the owner if you got a quick tour of the facility but one of its staff. In addition to being gorgeous it only has a maximum of about 45 to 47 residence that's the noise level was in credibly lower than other facilities. On my scale of 1 to 10 I would give it a 9 1/2 that's only because no place is perfect in price is a little bit higher than the rest but not much.
