Haven Care Memory Care review
My mother is currently a resident at Haven Care Birch House. The staff is a mix, three of the providers are terrific and one is very non caring. The Activities are the only thing that I would rate lower than a 4. The residents do sit and watch TV a lot.
About the facility Haven Care Birch House Memory Care
Haven Care operates five assisted living residences in the greater Albuquerque, New Mexico area. Birch house is a lovely brick home in an upper middle class neighborhood and is less than 3 miles from Lovelace Women's Hospital, which was rated at 87% on its latest medicare review. Three other highly rated major hospitals are within seven miles. Birch House has private rooms for 5 residents and specializes in Alzheimer's and Dementia care. It blends into its neighborhood and looks like just another home. There is always at least one staff member on duty and Haven Care provides regular in home health care with both a staff RN and regular MD visitation. Haven Care takes particular pride in the quality of security they provide. Top quality home style cooking and snacks are provided. Birch house is not a medicare or medicaid facility. Birch house is what is known as a micro-community type facility. Micro-community assisted living facilities are preferred by many people because they do not feel like an institution but more like a home. Haven Care Memory Care review

Great Staff and Locked Price
They were full. I would have liked to get my mom in here, though. The staff was all trained to work with all of the behavioral and physical and challenges of Alzheimer's. Also, there was no price change. It was $5100, but it will never increase no matter how much care you need.
