Mom loves living at Grandvilla of Altamonte Springs
My mom was very reluctant to move to Assisted Living/Memory Care. A few weeks after moving she told me how lucky she is now because her life is so much fun, the food is delicious and all the people are so kind to her. She especially enjoys the music performances, and dancing weekly. My mom truly loves living in Memory Care at Grandvilla of Altamonte Springs!

I would like to encourage others who have a family member that suffering from memory care or needs 24 hour care. A Place For Mom recommended the Grand Villa they also help me get through all the paperwork and guided me through the whole process. The love and care that my mom has received here is amazing. I thank them so much every day they treat my mom like she’s their family . My mother‘s always clean. She loves the girls that help her. Their interaction with her is amazing. They love her as much as she loves them.. you can’t go wrong at Grand Villa.

Very Kind Staff and Residents- just some things to work on
Overall, the move-in process felt a bit rushed, and some important things weren’t clearly explained. My grandmother wasn’t shown how to handle certain day-to-day things such as the laundry policy or how mail works. We were also given incorrect information about insurance coverage, which caused a lot of confusion and delays. Because of this, it took about three weeks before she was finally able to see a doctor.
The outdoor areas around her building could also use a bit more attention and cleaning.
The introductory staff we met were all very friendly and welcoming. However, the nursing staff tend to keep more to themselves.
In terms of quality of care, I would currently rate it a 2, though I do think it may improve with better communication. Much of our frustration came from the incorrect insurance information. We were told we were covered and given the wrong details, which caused confusion with the doctor’s office and delayed her appointment until just this past week.
I’ve also overheard some of the nurses speaking loudly about certain patients. There is a woman in my grandmother’s building who requires a lot of care and can be difficult, and I heard a couple of younger nurses complaining and gossiping about her and other residents. I’m not sure they realized how often I was around while helping my grandmother get settled. I believe they are young and may simply need more guidance on professionalism, empathy, and how they speak about patients and residents.
I do plan to share this feedback with one of the main staff members so they can look into it and hopefully address these concerns.

The staff seemed to be very caring with the residents and were able to greet them by name, showing a level of care not seen in many places. The facilities were clean, with a welcoming feeling. The list of activities was impressive. There was a group leaving for lunch at a local restaurant when I arrived. The facilities have much to recommend them.

The staff are so friendly and helpful. My mother is so happy to becoming part of the Grand Villa Family. Met with management and had a great tour. There are minor concerns but it is only because my wife and I are looking for a bigger apartment with washer dryer plus a larger kitchen area. However, their dining facilities are impressive and the surrounding areas are well kept.

Amazing Place
My father in law has been a resident of Grandvilla of Altamonte for a just over a month now. Although it has been a short time, I can not say enough about this facility. From day one, they have been nothing short of stellar ! From management to the food service to the maintenance staff, everyone has made us feel so welcome . [name removed] , [name removed] and [name removed] have held our hands through this process and have been amazing ! Dad is thriving in his new environment and loves it! I would highly recommend Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs .

I’ve been here since [date removed], the accommodations are very clean and well maintained. The grounds are well maintained with a very nice pool area to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

There is a great vibe at Grand Villa. Came in on a day they were having happy hour. The staff interaction w the residents was great. The vibe inviting!
