She doesn't not openly express her needs or challenges to the staff. She denies having a problem or struggle because she doesn't want to be a bother or admit something is wrong. This is part of her struggle with dementia and MCI. When i see evidence of a need, i express it to the staff. Its very upsetting that even with her written consent that daughter's requests need to be considered for her best interests + care, they still say she has to ask for what she needs. I will be sending information to assist you in that DAILY need so that her mouth isn't hurting her.\n\nNow, the financial management has been very poor. My Mom is on DHS and the money that they are telling me I owe is MUCH less than what DHS says.
