When you walk in to the community it has a great overall atmosphere, there is a lot of nice décor and it is clean. The staff members are very friendly and our mother liked it right away.

Don't take your parent there
I would not recommend this community. I would not take your loved one there. it was the worst experience. they did not manage her medications, I kept finding her medications everywhere in her room. She has went downhill since then and they did not do what they needed to do.

Great Place for Mom
It's a beautiful place. The people are friendly. My loved one really loved it when she first moved in, but she's getting a little grouchy now. It seems very nice, and it's a good atmosphere for her and her sensibilities. It's not too high class, but it's very clean and comfortable.

Just What We Were Looking For
The community was very easy to work with. They were quickly able to accommodate our loved ones into the community. The staff have been sweet to my loved ones.

Mariposa is a beautiful facility, but do not recommend for memory care
During the time our loved one was there, they did not seem to be very experienced with memory care even though they had a memory care unit. Also when our loved one was ready to move out, we called daily to get our loved one's lease cancellation in writing from them, and even a couple months later we still have yet to receive anything in writing.

Tour of Mariposa Point
We virtually toured Mariposa Point. The facility seemed to be clean and provided all amenities that we were looking for and the staff were friendly. We did not go into much depth about details with them since we had our eyes set on another facility.

My review of Mariposa Point at Algodon Center
Our family was able to do an in person tour at this facility and it was an excellent tour. We were able to see different room and hallways and it was clean with no fowl smells.

Very nice facility but very confused on pricing. We were told $3050 for 1 bedroom but then my sibling called and was given a much lower price. We weren’t allowed to see the rooms personally so this is a concern. Also they said they were at 41% occupancy but then told they have very few rooms.

My complete satisfaction
I felt safe putting my friend in this community, I knew she would be taken care of. They have taken good care of my loved one. I saw her smiling more than any time while she is here. I would definitely recommend this community to others

be careful
There have been 3 robberies in the community, It is not safe here. People have had Jewry, meds, and a safe taken from the community. I would not recommend this community to others. corp and the admin staff are ignoring the problem.

They made every effort to make it feel comfortable for our loved one
The staff members were very personable and they seemed to really get to know our love one. The rooms are nice, and for him it was a good size. We would recommend this community to a family or friend.

Mariposa Point Community review
We were very satisfied with this community. The staff members would always keep us up to date on things. Unfortunately our loved one contracted COVID and passed away due to it. We really want to commend them during COVID, we weren't able to set up our loved ones furniture and the maintenance staff helped out and set everything up for us. They were very accommodating and really bent over backwards for us.
We were able to see the community through the windows and from what we saw it seemed to be pretty clean. It is a brand new facility so it was more pricey. Our loved one first moved in to the assisted living and ended up having to be moved to the other side which caused the price to go up.
They had great activities for what they could do during this time, they really tried to be accommodating to all the residents. Without COVID they offered even more activities. The only problem we had, is they offered online video chat, but they never sent us the link to the website even though we asked many times. However, we ended up getting our own so we could video chat with our loved one at anytime

Mariposa Point is always very clean, and especially compared to other communities, the cleanliness is exceptional. The accommodations are great. The staff worked with my parents to make sure my they could remain together even as my mother was placed in memory care and my father was not. Cannot say enough good things about the staff. All of them are friendly and outgoing. They encourage my dad to participate in activities they have available on site and off side. The staff is always willing to meet the needs of the residents and will adjust and accommodate as necessary. Compared to other communities, the price is a lot less for greater care. Even the entry fee to get in is a great value for what you are getting in return. They have different levels of care and evaluate the residents regularly so they can adjust if needed. They have gone above and beyond anything I could expect. Even beyond the care, they regularly bring in outside professionals, like a hair dresser or podiatrist, to see the residents and accommodate for their needs. The food is also excellent; they regularly change the menu daily and the quality is great.

Grateful
We could not of picked a better place for our Dad. He needed to be in memory care and he is happy now. He enjoys the food, activities and interaction with those around him. We are located in another state and rely on those whom care for him without any doubt.
They have gone above the call of duty helping with resources and advice for those things we are in need of guidance on.
We've stayed at Mariposa Point a number of times in their guest suite which is most comfortable. We've enjoyed their meals (never had a bad one) and their hospitality in every way. We've seen first hand and joined in the activities meant for everyone in the facility. With all of the places to choose from we feel that we made the best choice for our Dad.
