Best Senior Home Care In Florida
For over 3 years Elite Senior Home Care has been helpful in every way possible to insure that my 91 yo mother [name removed](who is inflicted with Parkinson's disease, type 2 diabetes and has cancer of the kidneys) has received the best service in all of Florida. I don't know what we would do without the help of our wonderful CNA [name removed]. She is the best Certified Nursing Assistant that I have ever experienced in my life. Her caring and affectionate demeanor cannot possibly be copied. Her work ethics are over the top. I am absolutely ?? percent satisfied that Elite Senior Home Care hires the best professional staff possible. Thank you [name removed] and your staff for making our lives easier in these difficult times. But most of all thanks to [name removed] for her help, love and sincere dedication. We just love her.

our family experience was good, friendly staff. An overall positive experience.
The overall experience my mother had was very good. My mother was very difficult due to the fact she refused to accept she was failing and needed assistance day to day. Elite staff were always kind to her. Always well dressed. Always cleaned up my mother's apartment. The staff was wonderful to my mother and all of us in the family. The quality of care was good. The management worked with me when we felt that an aide was not experienced enough to deal with my mother's condition and things started to decline. My mother absolutely loved one aide in particular but when things started to go bad we felt she wasn't going to be able to handle my mother. We were able to get her to come and work with another of my mother's more experienced aides and that helped quite a bit. We were so thankful for that. The aides always helped my mother with her meals. If she didn't care for what was delivered to her apartment they would fix her something else. The aides would make sure she would go to activities. If not up to it the aides would watch movies with her or do activities in her apartment. I think it was a good value. It was expensive but my mother was deathly afraid of being place in long term nursing. Elite made it possible for her to live her last few months as she wanted. And they were called upon more than once for last minute changes. They always came through.

Great for what we needed them for
There are some lovely people who work for this company. Two of the aides we used became family to us. We had some aides that weren't so great but they were always happy to switch them when we worked with someone who wasn't a good fit. The casemanager was lovely and attentive in the beginning but as the months went on she was difficult to get in touch with and said she would look into certain things and wouldn't get back to me or return my calls. The woman in billing and the woman in scheduling were great and always sent me receipts and changes in schedule if needed. We had challenges with a particular aide and they immediately addressed it. My main issue was that they changed our contract from 24 hours to 12 hour shifts without notice (it's double the price) and without getting my thoughts if I was ok with this change prior to making it. Unfortunately, that was enough to end our contract, as well as a challenging aide and we hired privately. Great company for the most part.

More than Elite
After going through 4 agencies I found Elite to be the best. Exceptional care has been given to my mom. Her aide has become a part of the family. I would highly recommend this agency to anyone looking to get care for them selves or their loved one.

We did not have a good experience at all, we would not recommend this home care service to any other family. The billing department was never accurate, we were over charged. The management and all the care takers we dealt with were all just incredibly rude

Superb!
Elite Senior Home Care was recommended by our family doctor. Our experience has been wonderful. They responded to my internet request within minutes. I then contacted the office on a Saturday to try to schedule an appointment, someone answered immediately, and I had an appointment the following Monday. Our Aide started on Wednesday and has been a godsend. She attends to the needs of my wife and makes sure our home is clean and safe. When I need to speak with someone in the office, the answer right away; there is no automated machine answering like other companies. I highly recommend Elite Senior Home Care for any family support you need. A big warm thank you to all staff at the Elite Senior Home Care office.

When I came to Elite Senior Home Care a few years back, I had been working with independent care givers who were very good. However, my mother was getting older and in need of 24 hour care. I had to find people willing to work with my mother, who had been totally self sufficient and now was not able to do anything for herself. It presented a challenge to find those who would have a good rapport with existing care givers and could withstand the onslaught of criticisms from my mother during their first weeks on duty. Once my mother accepted them, lasting friendships were made. [Name removed] and [name removed] were truly caring and made every effort to find people who would take a day or night shift and the occasional fill-in person, when a regular caregiver had to have time off. As you can imagine the task in hand was not easy for either of us. I recommend Elite Senior Home Care, knowing full well that they will make every effort to find the person or persons, who will work best with your loved one. Nevertheless I came to realize that "perfect person" sometimes takes a while to find. Elite Senior Home Care could not have been more patient and helpful throughout the last four years of my mother's life.
