All rooms have their own climate control and security system. Because of the community's medium size, residents benefit from plenty of planned activities and the feeling that they are known and cared for by the staff and the other residents. The staff works with local groups and churches to organize the frequent church and devotional services on-site and off-site, and the coordinator creates a monthly calendar with optional activities, which range from art projects to cooking classes, and from sing-alongs to exercise courses.</p> <p>The staff at Dogwood New Albany are equipped to handle most nonmedical needs.
